Sunliner Holiday

Comfortable – Recently bought a 2011 Sunliner Holiday with an island bed & rear bathroom. The layout is great & I'm finding it very comfortable. Now that I've lived in it for a couple of months I'm noticing little things I didn't notice when I purchased it. The trim between the top of all the cupboards & the ceiling all the way around the living area looks… Read more
like cheap plastic stuff & the trim on the edges of the cupboard doors is coming unstuck. On the outside there's a rubber across the back that doesn't seem to fit properly thereby allowing water in behind & the decals are deteriorating badly. Have been told they use 5 year vinyl for them.
Customer Support - APPALLING !!! – I purchased a brand new Holiday H533 at a cost of over $200,000 - I picked it up on 15th December 2014. The concept of the vehicle is brilliant - the finish and quality control, however, are not satisfactory at all. The vehicle is stunning and attracts much attention, however, I cannot, in good conscious recommend Sunliner. I have been informed,… Read more
in writing, that trims falling off, the poor workmanship, rust, the door falling off, etc. is all part of "maintenance". Many of the appliances have failed. I had no idea that each separate item in the motorhome requires varying establishments to have them repaired e.g. the airconditioner, the HWS, the door that fell off, the awning, the fridge, etc. - all need to be repaired at their respective service centres. Then the van section needs to go the Sunliner for service and I assume the truck needs to be serviced at Mercedes ??? This is like buying a car and having to take it to a workshop to have the brakes serviced, another to repair the seats, another to repair the windscreen wipers, etc., etc. I have only just learnt that the vehicle was supposed to have a 3 month service ??? It must have been in the mountain of paperwork that was dumped in my lap on handover. No follow up from Sunliner - no reminder - no support. Considering the cost of the vehicle and the numerous problems that have occurred withing the first few months of ownership - these should be covered under warranty - as per consumer law. I have experienced so many issues - only to be rudely dismissed and provided no follow up - no recognition of responsibility by Sunliner. The dealership, Melbourne RV, is rude and appalling to deal with - and unfortunately head office is proving to uphold the tradition. From the moment the contract was signed, the service disappeared - they could not even get the vehicle ready on time and deliberately omitted supplying all the items as had been agreed, in writing. I am so disappointed and frustrated that I have submitted a claim to Consumer Affairs and will continue to pursue the matter further. Perhaps others who have endured the similar experiences from Sunliner would consider doing the same? The motorhome is a very expensive investment - Sunliner's treatment of their customers is APPALLING !!! I am not surprised to hear of others who have experienced the same ...
Fantastic holiday, so much space and convenience for a smaller motorhome to drive on a standard lice – We have recently purchased a new sunliner holiday h503 motorhome from sunshine state rv at loganholme. Our dealings with this company, tyrone and michael, have been extremely easy and efficient. Our particular requirements and changes to the original specifications were carried out, so that we achieved the motorhome that suits our lifestyle.… Read more
Our problem was finding a smaller motorhome with ease of bed making and the sunliner innovation of the sliding wall adjoining the bed and full bathroom is excellent and we were surprised that this smaller motorhome has so much storage space. The holiday was delivered exactly when it was promised. We initially had a couple of “hiccups” with this new vehicle but they were immediately rectified by tyrone at loganholme and sean at the warana branch. They both went out of their way to give us excellent after sales service. This is our third motorhome and prior to this purchase, we had a second hand, 28’, 2002 sunliner monaco which we were extremely happy with and this is the reason we purchased another sunliner motorhome. As we are getting older we wanted to be able to drive on a standard licence, hence, buying the smaller holiday. We can recommend sunshine state motorhomes very highly as they have been excellent with their information, delivery and after sales service.
