only came with two. Additionally, I was supposed to have a wood box on the back bar, which they claimed wouldn't fit. It was a clear case of false advertising. Now let's talk about the workmanship. The first time it rained, a substantial amount of water leaked onto the bed through the dust reduction system. Upon inspection, it looked like a 3-year-old had sealed the unit with an absurd amount of silicone, and even then, parts were still missed. The "solution" provided was simply to add more silicone on top. As if that wasn't enough, the workers failed to secure the TV properly, resulting in it falling off the wall during the trip home. Even more appalling, the roof of the caravan is already warped, and it hasn't even been 12 months since I bought it. The cover around the stair lights never stays in place, and all the corner pieces of the blinds consistently fall off. It's a clear display of shoddy craftsmanship. However, the biggest issue by far is the batteries. I specifically requested 2x 200Amp hour lithium-Ion batteries, but Sunrise Caravans failed to change the settings from AGM to Lithium Ion. As a result, the batteries never received a full charge, rendering them practically useless. We discovered this when we lost an entire fridge full of meat and other food items during a few overcast days. I contacted [Name Removed], the responsible party, and he sent out a subcontractor to assess the system. The subcontractor confirmed the solar was functioning, but the battery management system settings were indeed incorrect. Both the subcontractor and [Name Removed] assured me that the batteries couldn't possibly be damaged, yet the subcontractor didn't even reconnect all the cables properly when he left. I agreed to test the caravan's performance and found that the batteries died within 45 minutes of the sun setting, preventing any solar input. I contacted [Name Removed] again, explaining the issue, and received the same dismissive response. He denied any adverse effects from prolonged undercharging and complete battery failure and promised to get back to me, which took a minimum of 24-48 hours for each response. Throughout our communication, [Name Removed] has shown no willingness to admit fault or take responsibility. Instead, he resorts to delaying tactics, endless requests for more testing, and blames every other party except his own company, including the battery manufacturer and the battery management system manufacturer. This company gladly takes your money but refuses to do the right thing when they mess up. I strongly urge everyone to BE WARNED! Avoid Sunrise Caravans at all costs. They are untrustworthy, incompetent, and unwilling to rectify their mistakes.

Fantastic experience – We purchased a Blu Sky Grandeur from Sunrise Caravans and we do regret it one little bit. We have never had a problem with it and love her to death. Love my Bluesky Splender caravan – Bought the van in 2012 and have had some wonderful trips in it. As with most vans we had a few teething problems to start with and these were fixed by the great people at both Burpengary where we purchased the van and also by the head office in Victoria when we were there. Good to Live In – Sunrise staff in Queensland, unbeatable. We purchased a Sunrise Tropicana delivered in March 2015.
