Great sunscreen for my eczema child – My son gets eczema on his cheeks and we have tried so many sunscreens and this is the only one that does not aggrivate it. Highly recommend this sunscreen for anyone with eczema of sensitive skin. Just wish it came in a larger bottle! Show details

Perfect protection for Problem skin – I have got sensitive skin and body psoriasis which worried me over several years . When I started using this product my skin got better and it was just a perfect protection for both my body and face. I now feel very disappointed that this is no longer in the market. Show details

The sunscreen doesn't run in – I usually buy the sunsense sensitive invisible but it was unavailable so bought the sunsense sensitive after being told it was the same. The sunscreen wouldn't rub in. We were white. I ended up chucking it out and bought the sensitive invisible again which rubs in. Show details

It’s like wearing zinc- not a standard sunscreen – I’ve used sun sense (ego) products for years. Wasted my money on this product. I want good coverage but don’t expect to look like Casper the White Ghost when I head out. Show details

Best Sunscreen I've Used! – I love this sunscreen. I use it daily under makeup, and it is one of the few sunscreens I've used that doesn't break me out. I don't find it leaves a white cast - but I am a very pale redhead, so that's not too difficult. (I can't speak for darker skin types - it does come out pretty white so a white cast is likely?) I think I have fairly… Read more

sensitive skin and I don't get a reaction from this either. I don't find it too thick, and it is easy to spread. On my face it can look quite dewy / oily, so I lightly powder if I'm not feeling that that day. It's not too expensive and pretty easy to find in Australia which is very helpful, and one of the only zinc sunscreens I've found in a store. A few other things: - I haven't been burnt while wearing this - while out and about in the sun I do reapply every 2ish hours which is says in the directions (it may say water resistant up to 4hours, but it can rub off for many reasons, so it's best to reapply every 2 hours!). I also keep out of direct sun where possible which helps. - I have only tried the Invisible Sensitive (Light purple) and not the Sensitive (Purple) version. They are different formulas - the Invisible Sensitive only contains Zinc Oxide, where the Sensitive contains ZnO and Titanium Oxide (I avoid TiO2 as it tends to break me out). - It contains niacinamide, which my skin likes so I like it too :P - Whilst researching, I have come to the conclusion I may actually be very liberal with applying sunscreen (the opposite problem most people have), so keep that in mind too! This is my favorite sunscreen that I've tried, I keep repurchasing, and even keep the small bottle in my handbag! Everyone is different, so your mileage may very, but I love this sunscreen!

Not impressed – Although it states for sensitive skin I suffered irritation and a hot sensation upon application. Leaves a heavy white cast that is hard to rub in. Would not buy again. Show details

Worst sunscreen – Supposed to be for sensitive skin and invisible. It's far from that. Leaves a greasy white film on the face. Like pure zinc. Best to use when at the beach than for everyday use. Show details

Won't be buying again. Suffered irritation and became burnt – Agree with other comments. Applied sunscreen with ease and as directed. I was only out for one and a half hours and got badly burnt. Additionally, my skin became terribly irritated in general and experienced a burning sensation and general inflammation. Show details

Burnt baby – I was told this was great for babies, even the best for sensitive skin. It has burnt him after being out in the sun for only one hour and 2 applicarions . My husband also used several times and he ended up with burnt shoulders and face also- it’s thick so feels like it is protective but obviously not. Show details

Bad reaction :-( – Given this from a friend who’s child w’eczema reacted to it. My kids have no skin issues. However, both had terrible burning, dry, itchy & irritated skin after using this. Avoid! Show details

Skin reaction – Don't know what I've reacted to in it because there's no list of ingredients on the pack and can't find one online, but after using it on my face and neck (not needed on body because wearing a sunsuit) developed severe eczema that took a long time to get under control again. Did skin test on forearm and also reactive, not immediately (otherwise would have washed it off straight away) but a slow reaction. Show details

Rash and irritation. I – I researched quite a bit to find a good sunscreen and whilst having to pay a lot more for this one I wrongly decided that after reading reviews and the price tag must mean it's good. It claims it is for all skin types and is non greasy. After putting it on once, my skin was instantly irritated and it couldnt have been anymore greasy. The smell is… Read more

overpowering too and not pleasant. I decided to use one of the samples that came with it for children and again the same outcome. I am fuming I spent money on it when for a third of the price the supermarket own brand caused no such problems. If you are considering a change from your usual sunblock, I suggest looking at other makes but this one

Great for Sensitive skin – Not sure why this product is getting bad reviews it applies on very thick like a zinc consistency (depending on which one you choose I use non lightweight) but obviously like with other sunscreens you need to reapply. can’t fault this product especially with a 3 year old & myself with sensitive skin.

Severe sunburn! – I usually use Banana Boat spf 50 spray, but am on holiday and was unable to carry it in my hand luggage. Enter sunsense sensitive and the resulting horrific sunburn. As a fair skinned person I am used to reapplying sunscreen regularly, but this did absolutely nothing! I am now in so much pain I can't move and my holiday is ruined. Do not buy or use this product. It shouldn't be on the market.

Great for a short time – I think this sunscreen is great in one way when you want a light feeling and for a really short period. I wouldn't recommend it under a hot sun as i notice that it doesn't really protect and my 3 years old got partially burn after a short time on the beach . But great feeling on the skin and not greasy. So i usually apply this sunscreen on ner before adding another one just to create a barrier on her skin

Doesn't Work!!!! – I bought the sunscreen because I am allergic to banana boat. It didn't work and my husband and I got burnt after being out in the sun for only 2 hours!

Waste of money – For the cost I expected something awesome. I couldn't find my go to...so thought I'd try this as it said it was ranked highly. First, I should say...I have sensitive skin, so it sounded good. Also I have very fair skin and burn really easy, but expected this would work. Nope! My hands got a pretty nasty burn (it would only be worse if I'd worn… Read more

none at all), and a slight burn on my face. If I hadn't been wearing a long top while I was out, I have no doubt my entire arms would have been burnt. Don't waste your money.

Severe sunburn – I tend to burn easily, particularly across my nose/cheeks and front of my neck. I heard this was the best as it's the only product out there with zinc and tutanium oxides. Normally I tend to get a light burn on my nose/cheeks even with spf50+ so i gave this go on my face and went outside for a similar duration as normal. Rather than better… Read more

protection I've ended up with the worst sunburn I've had in years. It's as if I've gone out with no protection at all.

It's devastating. Incredible pain and from a product supposed to be the best.

Excellent sunscreen for sensitive skin – After having tried and tested numerous sunscreens for my daughter's sensitive skin this is one of the only ones that doesn't sting her. I absolutely recommend this for anyone with very sensitive skin..and now all my family are using this. It's the packaging with the purple colour on the front..for easy selection. Excellent product!
