Happy experience – Can't fault SC Coffee Machines. They serviced my machine. I had a problem fitting one part when I got it home. Within a short time of my call to them, they were on my doorstep, showed me the correct way to fit the part and my machine works great again. That is going the extra mile to make sure customers are happy. Greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend Sunshine Coast Coffee Machines.

Great service and fast shipping – Ordered a Sunbeam coffee machine water filter. Delivered 2 business days later. The product was genuine and not a fake like some other companies on ebay sell. Super fast and great service. Will buy from again.

This company is the best – Sunshine Coast coffee machines is a professional and wonderful business. I would recommend their services to anyone. Whoever left that other review. I think you clearly need to get some help mate. This lovely family run business has been looking after the Sunshine Coast for a long time. Cheers.

Very Poor Service Attitude – My coffee machine needed repair so I took it to Sunshine Coast Coffee Machines for the 6th time in an 18 month period. When I picked it up and got it home, I found it was still leaking water out the bottom and now steam would not blow out of the steam tube either. I rang them straight away and left a message. They only have one mobile number for customers, no landline numbers or anything. By the following night, they had not returned the call so my partner left them a message. The next morning they finally returned the call. When I spoke to [name removed] and told him why I was calling, I had barely said anything when he interrupted me and said did you read your invoice as it is on there. The invoice doesn't actually tell me what the real problem was. He then said you were phoned and it was all discussed with you prior to repair. That's when I interrupted him and so nobody has discussed anything with me at any time.

He said I spoke to you or your partner. I said I'm sorry but you must be confused with someone else as you haven't spoken with me or my partner about it. He was insistent and said on at least 4 occasions he had spoken to me. He then said he heard the lady at the front desk also telling me when I picked it up. I said no she didn't and he said she did, I heard her. No such conversation took place. She took payment and I asked her if it was all fixed and she said yes except the steam tube still drips water but we can't replace it as the part is no longer available. When I brought it in, I told her the machine wouldn't work at all, that it was leaking water out of the bottom of the machine very severely and that water was dripping out of the steam tube while making a coffee. Nothing was said to me when I picked it up that it was still leaking water. I had said to this lady other than the steam tube dripping water, the rest is all fixed and she said yes yet [name removed] insists she told me that the steam tube no longer blows steam and that the water leak was related to that.

The guy must be tripping because what he says he heard and what was said was two very different things. During my conversation with him, he seemed to assume that I should know the machine would leak copious amounts of water out the bottom of it because the steam tube was cracked. I said hang on, I'm not a coffee machine technician, I wouldn't know that the leak out the bottom is related to the steam tube being cracked. He then said oh just come in and we'll give you your $88 bucks back. Then he said or better still, email us your bank details and we'll give you your $88 bucks back. By this time, he sounded very angry like he was trying to stop himself from losing it. I confirmed the email address and his replies were very curt and loaded with attitude. I got off the phone and thought what horrendous customer service.

Not only am I obviously a liar but I should also know the ins and outs of coffee machines. As I said to him, nobody spoke to me, I only ever got a text on the 19th March about two weeks after I dropped the machine off to tell me it was $88 for the repair and asking if I wanted to go ahead. I replied 37 minutes later thinking oh good, they can fix it and asked them to proceed. Then I receive a text on the 5th April reminding me it was ready but they hadn't sent me anything or told me it was ready in the first place. I was so unimpressed to do the 140 km round trip to pick it up only to find when I got it home it still had things wrong with it, and that was the 3rd time that had happened. If you want to get your coffee machine fixed or buy a new one, I strongly suggest you give Sunshine Coast Coffee Machines a big miss, save yourself the grief and accusations and go elsewhere!

Subsequent to this, I found a coffee machine repairer in North Lakes, much closer to home who fixed my coffee machine and got the steam tube and it works beautifully again....yet Sunshine Coast Coffee Machines said the steam tube was no longer available and therefore my coffee machine was irreparable yet they charged me for repairing it anyway eventhough later on the phone they told me it was irreparable. They clearly don't know what they're talking about. Avoid them at all costs. This new place not only got the part and fixed my machine but the part was available in Sydney!
