They are relentless in stressing you out when times are tough
I fell victim to losing hours with my job because of covid. Regardless to how often I kept Sunshine Loans updated on my situation they continued to not only email me but also text message me with a single lump sum loan payout offer and in the same letter threaten me with Milton Graham even though they were well aware of my current financial situation. I then got my hours back up at work so made an arrangement to get my loan paid off in installments, which they appeared fine with but then I still kept receiving the "one off payout" offer and sti...ll being threatened with Milton Graham. I have been so stressed out as it is with everything thing that has happened yet they still relentlessly continued to put the pressure on. I am in the process of paying off this loan and will gladly never use them again.
They have taken the payment out of my account before it was due and I lost money I need to survive on cause stupidly I thought it wouldn’t be taken intill overnight.i have has plenty of loans take it overnight but no these people.i will never borrow from them again and I will never recommend them to anyone and I will tell them why

Purposely Overdraw Your Account
Have had many loans with them over the years until I was finally declined due to a reversal on my bank statement.
Erm.. you set the payments a day earlier than someone’s payday which purposely overdraws their account. So how exactly is this a valid reason to decline an application?
I’m sure I’ll get the same copy and pasted response but enough is enough. Time to lodge a formal complaint against Sunshine Loans.
Always professional and there when you need them
Have used on few occasions as unexpected issues crop up always professional prompt and fair
I know of places that charge way more on interest
Thank you for your great help and professional service
Another loan company you can skip.
Just another loan company that declines me everytime I apply. Doesn't matter the amount. I've been in the same job for 5 years, full time, earn more than enough. And all I get each time is an email saying we can't help you. No reason, no way to talk about the outcome, nothing. My repayment history with other loan companies is perfect. How they find a way to decline me everytime I have no idea. Don't give these guys any business.
this place is the best of all
i have been through some bad times....long story short credit rating was crap, in time of desperation and 8 other options this mob saved the day and ill remain faithful so to speak.... please use these guys first.....

helped when in need
Similar to most Victorians, Covid has financially & mentally ruined me. Ironically, the only thing I do have is my physical health...Anyway, I guess it’s fair to say that I was not prepared in the slightest for any of 2020, but Sunshine Loans certainly have eased some of the financial burden I have been faced with. For a $500 loan, all up I paid out $660 over 6 x fortnightly payments & the money was in my account within 24hrs. I have found them to be very reasonable & easy to deal with. Payday loans are usually a far from great idea, however I found my experience with Sunshine Loans to be above satisfactory & in the likely, yet unfortunate circumstance of requiring another short term loan, i wouldnt hesitate in going through them again!

At first, good and seemingly willing to help you out...then boom they show their shark fins
I applied for a 1 thousand dollar loan of which I have been paying every fortnight on the dot without failure. My bank account has never since opening it at 17 years old been overdrawn before but because I Miscalculated my account balance on the day a repayment was due, only by about $50 mind you... Need to transactions of $110 each went through but the second one was bounced back to my bank and suddenly my account balance was thrown into an overdrawn amount of $220-despite the first payment of $110 successfully going through it was considered ...the two payments as one whole payment and if one didn’t get thru the two of them will show as an overdraw. Its crap. Then, showing how considerate they are of my situation they send me a happy little email with a link attached offering me a chance to apply for a smaller loan to help me out and pay them their money, can you actually believe that!!! So in the end I have now got only $180 in my bank account to get me through the week bcos when my pay of $404 came thru today, a good chunk of it didn’t even see my account as it was taken out for the repayment that bounced a few days ago. Now I get that you need to get the money any way possible when a customer repayment bounces or whatever, but you are very aware that every person is just trying to live thru a colossal time right now, so what would have been a better thing to do would have been to maybe contact myself thru a human written email or a phone call or text message, that doesn’t give me a link to dig a bigger hole for myself or leave me high and dry once my account has some cash in it. Hello Evelyn, we have seen that you have paid one of your repayments but unfortunately the second has bounced back due to insufficient funds in your account. We have seen your impeccable bank history and so wish to extend the option of explaining to us why it didn’t go thru and discuss when the next available time you will be able to pay this off. And I would’ve immediately said I can ask to borrow the outstanding amount from my mum and the outstanding amount will be paid out within 24 hours. But you sent me a message saying that it didn’t go thru, we are charging you an extra $35 fee on top of what’s owed plus don’t forget my bank charging me an overdraw fee of $15...like crap, you are meant to be human being with compassion and understanding-you have a name as sharks, but you’re all really just a bunch of scavenging vultures. Sorry to be really honest but I’m angry bcos I never got to explain to you and you take the time to try resolve a hard situation from becoming dire. No offence but crap you.
Fast and helpful but....
Sunshine loans are very fast and approved me for purchases. Just disappointing that if you're honest and need help to try pay another loan you will be declined. I guess its like selling Pepsi in Coke uniform. 3 star only because of this, other than that they are very efficient especially if you need a quick boost for a last minute event.
I’m Very happy with sunshine loans, They have always helped me multiple times over the past few years, highly recommend
I would highly recommend if a loan if needed and you meet there criteria. great customer service when calling up, and no problem when paying a loan out early. Great company, have helped me out a lot.

At first I liked this company easy quick cash loan
I got 2 or 3 1000 dollar loans non problem paid back no probs
But now all the do is knock back my applications and keep sending me mail to get more
I've tried 3 or 4 starting at 1000 and going less and less with further attempts but still knocked back
I would recommend not to use this company as they are not loyal and are a bit of a rip off too
Easy to get but you pay ALOT back
Used this service a few times over the years. Paid all back with a few missed payments at the start of the year. Now I just get knocked back without reason.
Good if you are desperate. Bad if you want to be left alone.
Sunshine Loans was there when I needed them, but do not get a loan with them unless you are in absolute last resort, desperate need. I struggled immensely paying this company back with their ridiculous terms.
Yes, I knew the terms of the loan before I signed, unfortunately, I had no choice but to use them with all other options exhausted.
Once your loan is finished, they will harass you constantly to get another loan through them. I'm only writing this review because they won't leave me alone.
Had several loans before - declined twice now
Had several loans and paid them off (missed couple of payments) but last 2 loans paid off with no issue. Applied twice in the last 2 months both times declined
the worst would not recommend to anyone
have had 5 loans through sunshine and have paid them everytime also had 5 loans declined every second time applying. . one loan being $1000,,,, the process has to be one off the worst there is as it has happened multiple times through them,, will reuine your credit rating by doing what they do.... approve my first loan decline the next one approve the one after that decline again on another application then approve again then decline again just finished paying a loan with them 1 month ago went to apply again and declined yet again have had...it with sunshine and will stick to wallet wizard a trusted company that does it the right way. how can a loan company approve every second loan I apply for???? and decline me after that and then approve it again. forwarning to those that want to use sunshine loans as I said they will reuine your credit for the fun off it while saying you a valued customer.
- Blaming banks for a 3-day wait. Rude woman on phone stated transfer was made that morning (on the third day) instead of the actual day of approval.
- Woman stated I (me) should know how it works because I have had ‘like 4 loans’ with them before. Which I have not!
- Complaints team is a man sitting right next to the rude woman!
- Stated I dont want the money ! They said again, the money was transferred that morning. I said I will return it and pay NO FEE’s. They told me If its not returned by cob then I will incur the fees!
It wont matter if its there or not, that is my time limit!
- Calls aren’t recorded during complaints, they will not read the notes on your record, and they will not even apologise
They say they take there lending obligations seriously crap thay brake lending regulations
Ok you say you take your lending obligations seriously i say crap. so then why do you lend money to people in a part 9 agreement which is against lending regulations???
I recently hard a small loan with sunshine loan and to my surprise I can not believed that such company exist where in they ripped people off. This group (sunshine loan) was suppose to be taking money from my account every fortnight as arrange on the contract what they where doing is to if to debit my account for one payment and then they will send you an email saying oh you just miss one payment and and you have being charge extra $30. when the were only debiting my account with half payment I did send them an email querying them about there d...oing and they said it might have been my bank I call my bank and they said my account can be overdrawn up to $250 and sunshine loan was suppose to be taking less than that amount and i sent up half of my pay to be going into that account every day sunshine loan was suppose to be taking morning from my account they did the same thing yesterday so if they do not repay me back I will take it further I am not satisfied with there approach at all.
Great for me. Gets me out of trouble when I need
Always been happy with sunshine loans. Typical pay day loans are always expensive but these guys are one of my best and easiest options I use. Have had many loans and am happy
Questions & Answers
Hey this is William Philp I was wondering what time my money will go in to my bank account ?
I have applied for a 1000 loan and it got approved quickly and was around 2pm WA time which is 4pm QLD time.. Then I got a sms saying the funds had been sent to my account and would receive before 5pm WA time. I'm writing this at 632pm WA time and there are no funds in my account...I've double checked the contract with my account details and they were correct but no funds? I've rang my bank to see if anything was waiting to clear and they told me nothing was apparent ... will I ever receive my money? Does this happen often? I'm worried they've sent the funds to the wrong account or gotten a number wrong on there processing end... either way no1 funds yet and was promised before 5pm. It's now 635pm and nothing! Please get back to me as I've attempted to call and email support and nothing...
