Same as most here – Wow I just thought it was something wrong with my hair but I've always used the black sunsilk and had the best hair. Last couple years have been terrible now I see these reviews about changed formula. I have to agree. And change shampoo and conditioner

Change back to the old recipe – I had been using the black Sunsilk shampoo since I was in school (roughly 10 years) but I have recently noticed they changed the recipe. Doesn’t feel or smell the same. Changed product as I didn’t like the smell or the way the new one made my hair feel. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease change it back

Brilliant won't use anything else – I will not use anything else I can't live without it I've been using it for almost a decade it's brilliant I'm amazed at the negative reviews Not sure what that is about I guess people are loyal to their brand and will write negative reviews towards other brands But I'll defend this product to the hill against haters Why because it's brilliant my hair has never been better love it best shampoo and conditioner on the market

Does what it says – The shampoo and conditioner not only soften my damaged curls but also make them shiny. The only problem is it strips the hair of everything and that includes hair dye.

Excellent Before... Just Ok now – I have been using Sunsilk Addictive Brilliant Shine Shampoo for years until they change the recipe. Sadly I need to switch to another brand after consuming the last bottle. Now I need to research again on an affordable shampoo with excellent quality which used to be what Sunsilk was.

Knotty hair using the conditioner – I am really disappointed with the Sunsilk conditioner now as when I used it before the comb would glide through my hair. Now after I wash my hair it is full of knots. So unfortunately I will have to stop using it.

If it Ain't Broke Don't Fix It! – I was also a long term and very happy Sunsilk customer. People used to comment on how good my hair was and asked what brand I used. But not anymore. 'New Cheaper Formula'. It's frustrating to think that some genius actually got paid to change the formula! Obviously they didn't conduct any trials before releasing it. I now use OGX Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner. I noticed that one reviewer gave it 5/5 but then saw that this was in 2014 when it was still the original formula.

Rubbish – Have used Sunsilk since I was a teenager so very disappointed with the new incarnation. Wont buy this any more, loved the old formula but this is drying leaves my hair frizzy and flat. Please bring back the old formula.

not like wasting shampoo/conditioner,but this rubbish is going straight in the bin and I will never buy another Sunsilk product again until the formula is fixed.

Ended up washing the windows with it. It is so bad – I will not be buying Sunsilk shampoos or conditioners again. Sunsilk should have warned customers that they had changed the recipe. chances. I used the remaining Sunsilk shampoos and conditioners to wash the windows. I would never recommend new-version Sunsilk to anyone. (apparently despite how unhappy I am with this product, I am still forced to give it a rating. I reluctantly give it one star)

what has happened to your recipe? – I've been using your shampoo and conditioner for many years and now after using the new recipe my hair feels lifeless and dry. Please fix your product so my hair returns to brilliance again.

Does not work – This conditioner does not work! After using it my hair is all tangled and knotted. It does not smooth out the hair and remove the tangles like the Sunsilk conditioners used to do. I have stopped using it and ALL Sunsilk products.

Prefer the previous shampoo recipe ! – I've used Sunsilk for years and I don't like the "new" Sunsilk Addictive Brilliant Shine shampoo & conditioner. My long hair requires washing the next day which wasn't the case after using the previous Sunsilk shampoo. My hair appears greasy and lifeless which is not a good outcome. I don't like the fragrance at all... very strong chemical smell which isn't pleasant. Please bring back the previous shampoo products and I'll be happier !!

This is perfect for me – Using this product my hair and scalp is happy the smell is fantastic fresh and clean the shine that it leaves behind is wonderful and the hair is left in great condition and bouncy even in the morning the smell on my hair is clean and fresh cant live without it hope it never changes everything from price and smell to product usage.  Show reply
