Expensive and Arrogant – The experience with the owner and team was poor at best. The main guy is arrogant, short tempered (nasty and argumentative) and doesn't seem to care about the customer - the experience was infuriating. The results were average at the very best. Poor quality control after sales service – When Steve Godden owned this company, it was excellent and I spent about $40,000 building pagolas with him. under warranty. I informed the new owner that I would be taking my extensive renovations elsewhere, he couldn't have cared less. I would now avoid them like the plague.

Great skillion pergola, let down by service – Loved the pergola we selected from their display at outdoor-living-expo, however despite having several months lead time, they were still late starting (just didn't turn up). house, it's short by 17cm at one end. No apologies, just - 'which side do you want the short fall on?'. This after they'd specifically come out to re-measure our new home once it's roof was completed (part of the reason for the delays). We understand some of the delay was due to them working on a TV home renovation show on some of the days they didn't show up, so don't worry about real customers, when publicity is possible.

We do like the pergola once it eventually got put up, the workmanship is fine, and it looks like it will last a long time, but it would have been nicer if the size was what we ordered, since we've now got to live with it for years to come. The delays really caused us problems, so I've strongly advise to avoid Sunwise if you want a timely job, done to the specification ordered.

Waste of time – Came out, done measure etc and didn't bother getting back. If it's not basic standard patio I think this company would be a waste of time. Must of been to difficult for them.
