I booked to get an HIFU treatment in late August 2025. The beautician tried using the tool for maybe 1 minute, but I had severe and excruciating pain on my face and in the soft tissue inside my mouth, I felt like I was getting really strong electric shocks every time the equipment touched my face, I had pain inside my ear, pain in my lower jaw and I felt dizzy and my hands were shaking when I stood up. The pain in my lower jaw and face continued for a few days after this. I advised them about this issue and they wanted to continue but the pain got worse and worse every time they tried using the equipment for a few seconds.

This is very clearly not how HIFU treatments should feel like. And now I don't want anything at all on my face after this terrible experience.

I rang them asking for a refund (no response) and I wrote them an email requesting a refund (but they are delaying paying). In the meantime I am also going through my bank to refute the payment.

They can't keep money for a service they did not provide, especially given I had an issue with it and could not proceed.
