Poor manufacturing quality control – Cooktop had a broken thermocouple put in from new during its manufacture. No quality testing to see if the hotplate actually worked before selling to customers. It was purchased for a motorhome refit which took over 12 months. I called to complain and they said I need to buy a new part and get it installed as their warranty is only 12 months even though it has never been used. Show details

SWIFT gas hot plates and ovens for caravans – Due to SWIFT stating we cannot use hire or sell our caravans if installed prior 2020 due to a couple of prior problems - this is now causing us immense problems as we need to sell and cannot do without they say "removing the hot plates / oven". extreme rough roads. Due to ill health we need to sell our Silver Valley caravan that we purchased in 2017and change to a smaller caravan that both drivers can safely tow. To remove the SWIFT gas hot plates / oven would greater reduce the price and ability to sell our current awesome caravan. Are SWIFT going to pay us now for the loss of approx $20,000 on the sale. We have been waiting for an answer re these appliances and are now desperate to sell and move on with our lives. We are being held to ransom while we sit an do nothing waiting for some slow process to come up with some answer.

Very poor – We bought our caravan new two years ago fitted with a swift stove and have constant problems the top steel frame over the hot plates is only held by rubbers these fail and the steel frame moves and damages the stove. The alley plate in the top of the grill vibrates and breaks around the screws . The glass top of the stove has broken as the alley panel that supports it is too thin and flexible. Glass is not good woth corrugations – Glass oven door shattered over Corrugations. The rivets do not hold and clips bend. Do you have a no glass door for the oven? The need to remove the stove to access the rivets to remove the door remains is difficult in a remote location. Show details

Stove nobs – We have had our van for just coming on 12mths. Our last trip up north from Brisbane, we were packing up and just had breakfast thought she had turned of the stove when pulling out the griller it was still hot. When checking the nobs one came of in her hand. We then checked all, 4 out of 5 were cracked. we have probably used the top approx 15 times. Pls check before traveling cheers Mick Stove was good otherwise nobs cracked cheap bakelite
