Incompetent or shonky (in my opinion) – Very expensive. Wanted $950 to unblock a drain. Within half an hour he said he cant get through the blockage and that the pipe must be damaged. Said he could replace the pipe for $12k. I said I wouldn't be doing that until I got several quotes. Eventually, he "unblocked the pipe", advising it still needed to be replaced. I disputed the price as he didn't do half the work (CCTV or clean up) and he got very agressive, but agreed to take $200 off. Two weeks later, I had a different plumber come over to give me a price, who CCTV'd the pipe, noted it was still fully blocked except a tiny penetration (left by Sydney Drain Doctor). He unblocked the pipe in 15 minutes, CCTV'd it again to evidence the pipe was fully clear with no damage, nothing wrong with it.
