When I spoke to the Tammex rep originally, when I was considering whether or not to go ahead with the purchase, since i needed the printer ASAP, I was told that 'these printers come in regularly every week, we sell a lot of them. ' I was given no indication that there would be such a lag time or lack of transparency of communication.

I am extremely annoyed to be misled, as the freight time element was a significant element in choosing my point of sale. I am still waiting, have heard nothing re update of where it is or when I can rely on it to arrive.

Great. Happy – Great company. After waiting for a month from another company to deliver we ended up cancelling and buying from Tammex. It was delivered next morning. Fantastic. Impressive Service – This was one of the better online transactions I have done in recent times. I put an order online through there website over the weekend and it was delivered on Tuesday morning. Cheap prices and good service – This was a good place to buy from. I got a Sony Amplifier from them and it was delivered in 3 days. Home Theatre Screen – Our electric home theatre screen died so we needed a replacement. Tammex had the screen we wanted and it was 30% off. This was a better quality screen than the one we had and it qas cheaper. It was delivered in 3 days to our home and the customer service was great from start to finish. Thank you Tammex. Quality of product we purchased.

Happy Customer – Being a graphics company we tend to use a lot of ink on our large format printers. We were searching and searching for a reliable supplier as we run out often. We ordered and collected our ink in less than an hour which meant we had almost no downtime. Excellent. Pickup in 1 hour was a real bonus.

Excellent Price & Service – We considered Tammex as a supplier for our printing needs after finding there prices were cheaper than our local officeworks. Our order showed up in 4 hour which was fantastic. Tammex has shown they are capable of delivering on time and for a very reasonable price. We have already recommended them to others. Lenovo Helix – This machine is notoriously hard to purchase at this stage. After trying several other online suppliers I eventually found Tammex. They were polite, did exactly as they said they would do ever step of the way and the computer arrived 2 weeks ahead of the estimated arrival time. Excellent service! Very refreshing in this day and age of so many sales people who just do not care. Congratulations Tammex.

Shocking after sales service on return of faulty print head – We had purchased a HP 80 C4823A Yellow print head as part of a value pack which included a head cleaner & 350ml ink cartridge from Tammex in May 2012. In December 2012, we had to replace the old print head, which we had working for approx. 2 years, with the newly purchased one. yellow print head was faulty & needed replacing. After numerous attempts of re-seating the print head & other trouble shooting without success we concluded that it was faulty & needed replacement after only 9ml of ink being used. We contacted the manufacturer of the printer & print head HP direct initially who advised that it would take 14 days from receipt of item to replace it through them but our best avenue was to go direct to the reseller Tammex for a quicker outcome & replacement which is what we did as we needed the printer up & running asap. Contacted Tammex that same day by phone who advised us to email the details including purchase receipt & they would replace the item - same day we emailed the relevant details.

By March 7th, we had not yet recieved a replacement print head or any correspondence from Tammex & our printer was still out of action, so we called them only to find that nothing had been done. Tammex then advised by phone & email that we would have to send the print head & remainder of the value pack that it came with (ink cartridge was still brand new & unopened) to a certain address with a given reference number which we did a few days later.

It's now 18th of April & we still haven't received replacement print head & value package and our printer is still out of action. So we call Tammex who advise that they do not stock the value pack any longer stating that HP do not produce this value package any longer but items are still available as individual items. Tammex advised that they will replace the print head but cannot replace or return the ink cartridge that we returned as it no longer stocks the value pack (although it was still listed as stock item on 18/04/13 on their webpage for $206) & will not supply us with a new individual ink cartridge but are happy to refund us the difference between the cost of the value pack & the cost of a new print head i.e $60. Value pack was originally purchased @ $234. 18/04/13 Tammex webpage price for print head & cleaner is $146 & Ink cartridge is $147, value pack $206.

Tammex then advised that we could get a full refund (which would take a few days) on our purchase price & if we decided to purchase the individual items before they transferred the refund then the items could be purchased at cost price being $136 for print head/cleaner & $148 for ink - that's right $10 cheaper for print head but $1 more expensive for ink than web listed price. Great, for all the promises, turmoil, loss of time & hundreds of dollars we've spent on external printing fees, Tammex may make us $9 better off - Oh sorry I forgot the shipping $12 & CC surcharge of $4 - We'd actually be down $7. Hopefully I recieve my refund in full

Unfortunately for Tammex, the old adage of 'you pay for what you get' applies - Cheap prices for cheap service with little or no after sales service. We would not recommend Tammex to anyone for aftersales service - go direct to the manufacturer. cheap prices reflects cheap service little or no after sales service

Customer Service – Tammex had provided me with excellent customer service when I called them up to purchased an external HDD. Tammex gave me a very good price and told me the description of the product such as what's good about it and why I should purchased it. Apart from that they delivered the order on time as promised. I would recommend Tammex to anybody! Keep up the good work. Punctual and delivered customer service as promised.
