I bought a pair because I loved the style, what I didn't expect is how absolutely comfortable they are. The most comfortable sandals I've ever had. Love the style and colour and quality, I'd 100% recommend! Show details
Change in Taos quality control – I bought 3 pairs of Taos when they were new on the market. Made in Spain. Then the company was bought out and now the quality is so poor! I still have the original 3 pairs and wear each pair at least twice a week with no problems. New Taos shoes and sandals just fall apart! Save your money! And if you buy from a reputable family owned shoe store they usually are able to offer a refund exchange. Buying shoes online is too dodgy! Show details
these shoes are driving me crazy – Nearly impossible to walk in these sandals as the back strap constantly slides down. This back strap sits very low and is able to slide up and down on a joining part of the straps and gravity is winning. I have switched the strap threading from in front to behind to see if it helps. The base is comfortable to step on however on hot days, they seems to make my feet hotter. The photo is of the strap switched over. Show details
Very disappointed – The back of my canvas sneakers are stiff and rough, the stitching seems to be causing the problem. Have worn 3 times and each time the skin was rubbed on my heels.
Not happy – 12 months and Taos canvas sneakers are falling to pieces. Love the style and comfort ... but not a quality item. Had the toe and upper on both shoes reglued after 6 months and now another 6 months later and the whole sole and upper have come apart. Not happy.
Warranty not given! – Sandals were comfortable and I loved them except the strap broke after wearing them a dozen times. I contacted the company and they say they will not give me the warranty since they are beyond repair. It is quite apparent from the picture that they were not worn much. No, i will not buy another pair since they will not keep their warranty on these shoes that I thought were well made!
Colorado Finola are exactly the same as Taos Party – Taos Party sandals are identical to Colorado Finola and are 50% dearer. I was surprised when I went to purchase the Taos brand in Mooloolaba and found they were much dearer than the ones of the Colorado brand. It pays to be observant and shop around.
Love these – I was recently told I have collapsed arches and found my Taos sandals while searching for supportive shoes. They're so amazingly comfy and look nice. I can't rate them highly enough. Show details
Taos is king – I too suffer from bad feet, knees and hips and bought my first pair of Taos from Suna Shoes. I promptly threw away my orthotics and expensive health shoes in favour of a pair of Trulie Wedge sandals which solved my chronic foot pain and knee pain. Have since bought 2 other pairs and am ordering a fourth in another style. Apart from Suna and a… Read more
store in Newcastle in one of the shopping centres, Greensfootwear is the only stockists with a variety of styles. Have ordered online from Greens and received my shoes within the week. Great service and prices. The Trulie style goes with everything and is the perfect height for me (5cm wedge). Am going to try the 6cm next to see if my knees will tolerate. Most comfortable shoes you can buy, particularly due to arch support and comfort foot bed. Also non slip sole give plenty of traction.
Best Shoes on the Market for Comfort, Style and Value – I have just purchased my fourth pair of Taos shoes. Initially I bought my first pair over 18 months ago at Treadways in WA and have searched Perth high and low for more because of the comfort, style and value of the first pair. For nealt 18 months I have been disappointed and have not found any despite searching far and wide. I spied the band logo… Read more
on a shoe sho at Joondalup and went in to have a look, but they only had one style. After trying it on and instantly getting that "foot heaven' sensation, I did not hesitate to pay $120 for a pair of stylish dressy slip ons. The instant 'foot heaven' sensation prompted such a resentment and total scorn of all the uncomfortable pairs of shoes I had in my collection, I went in search online. After viewing the styles at shoelink and being disappointed by the lack of variety, I happened upon greensfootwear and found a larger range. As I know how hard these are to find at retail shops, I bought a black pair and a wine coloured pair of the "spirit" sandal wedges. Again I was not disappointed and was inspired to write this review as the wedges are just as comfortable as my previous two pairs. I don't mind paying for quality, and would not be caught dead in a pair of stillettos due to the discomfort, ongoing posture and bone damage of the style, and until I discovered Taos I was limited to frumpy nana wear (with respect to all the nanas I know and love). Taos are reasonably priced, and the only shoes I have worn where your bare feet feel more uncomfortable when you take them off. The almost orthotic sole shaping and cushioning combined with beautifully soft leather and shock absorbant rubber soles give these shoes a unique combination of style and comfort. Did I mention the special treatment that eliminates and prevents foot odour? Just one of the many pleasant surprises this brand of shoe offers. Thank you Taos. Your shoes are like a shining beacon in the bleak landscape of stylish comfortable everyday foot wear xxx Great value for money, the microbiotic foot odour prevention treatment, the range of styles, the quality, the comfort
