Try another agency – Booking was not too bad, but the hotel selection … well, I was told that TravelLodge was a four star hotel. I was skeptical but figured they knew best. It was a two star Hotel at best, (think Motel 6) and recently used to house CoVID positive travelers. When I looked at the cost of my tour verses the expense of booking it myself, their cost was almost double. My suggestion, book it yourself, and stay someplace nicer! Show details
Hopeless after care – Tasmania.com were great with their assistance booking our holiday. So good in fact I referred friends to them. The issue was the aftercare. We had two pre-paid tours cancelled while we were in Tassie (in Jan 2022!), and both tour operators said they would provide refunds. they’d provide a refund. But since then - nothing. I have tried to get in contact with them via phone and email on now dozens of occasions, but interestingly no one from accounts is ever available to take my call, and I’ve not received one return phone call or email. It’s gotten to the point that I think the only recourse I have is to commence legal proceedings. I couldn’t be more disappointed with this company given how great they were to start with. I’d encourage everyone to think very carefully before handing any money over to this company to make bookings on their behalf.
Tasmania.Com - Excellent holiday in Tasmania – Booked a 10 day self drive holiday with accommodation through Tasmania.Com. Apart from one small hiccup which was quickly, and painlessly remedied by Ben, the whole trip was brilliant. I would recommend Tasmania.com to anyone thinking of visiting this beautiful destination.
