Pretty Good I Must Say – This slide out range hood was supplied by our builder Carlisle Homes as part of their inclusions when building with them. I have found that the functionality of the unit is quite good. It serves it purpose well and I especially love that I can put the filters in the dishwasher to give them a clean as they are dishwasher friendly. That saved me lots of time on soaking them which I for one love.

Bargain Buy – I purchased back in 2015 for my renovation. It's a simple, basic slide out that our electrician found easy to install. Once actually in use I was really impressed how powerful at eliminating smells/smoke for such a basic range hood. Filters come off easily for cleaning and not much else to maintain. Poor desgin and product service – Very dissaopinting right from the start. The electrician who installed the unit alerted us to the fact the filters fall out when you extend the rangehood for operation. I contacted Technika immediately and after around 3 - 4 months, they sent a replacement set of filters - exactly the same problem so it appears to be a design fault. Still an… Read more
