retractable power cord made it easy to set up/pack down - although it could have been longer - and the tank could be removed for filling (with tap water), or refilled in-situ, even while in use. It required no effort to operate, just gentle pressure with the thumb on the steam trigger. Even without steam the ceramic plate floated across any fabric. We had staff (millenials who had never used an iron before) pressing everything from a linen jacket that had obviously been scrunched up in a bag for at least a 12 hour flight through to chiffon eveningware, and the simple digital settings were perfect for preventing disastrous damage to expensive garments while ensuring wrinkles were removed and crisp seams were achieved. On the delicate no-steam setting, even if you pressed the trigger, not a droplet would come out, and the the anti-drip thingo worked perfectly no matter how long you were ironing. Overall, a great product. If it had an extra metre of cord it would be absolutely perfect.

buy a bigger ironing board.Also with large amount of shot of steam pressure I only have to iron over them once,saving time.The cover over the top keeps the iron in place and easy to carry.

Unlike any other – I am a professional single man living in Sydney and I decided to buy this product as I was tired of not getting good results when ironing my business shirts and spending money by sending them to be ironed externally. It is now very easy to iron my clothes, the iron is not heavy at all and I would seriously recommend spending a bit more on this product than getting another of poor quality and effectiveness.  Show details

Pros:

- Fast and powerful, you only need to go over things once and you are done

- Big water tank

- Auto shut off

- Retractable cord (like a vacuum cleaner)

- Built in hood, helps with carrying it around

Cons:

- Large size of unit

- I checked online at the cost is approx. $500, which is above the budget that I would consider if I were to buy an iron

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and hopefully that will continue.

to find room in my larger laundry on a side bench to ensure full use of the ironing board whilst ironing, this may be a downfall for someone that has a smaller space to work with. It is easy to use, and has a removable water unit to easily fill it up at the sink. I recommend this product highly.

and plastic cover with handle. My only concern is the iron is not able to be locked in place, the cover and handle are great but allows for the iron to move around underneath. There is no rubber stoppers on the bottom of the unit. The water container is great that it is removable, but it is smaller then previous model but I still love it and how quickly I can do the ironing.

Very impressed with this steam generator – I have used other steam generators and even though this is a large unit I love using it. It is easy to carry (unlike other steam generators) and storing it is fabulous as the power cord is retractable (I have found this a pain with every other iron I have ever owned). ironing time in half. The temperature settings are easy to use, I love the fact that you can detach the water unit and take it straight to the sink to fill it up (rather than making several trips between the sink and the ironing board). I haven't found that I have needed to refill the tank during an ironing session even lasting up to 4 hours (so far). Auto switch off also means no chance of accidentally leaving it on.

I highly recommend this product.
