This was bought from Harvey Norman to replace our previous Tefal steam iron. The problem with the previous one was the calcium buildup, but this one has a calcium filter. It is lighter, and seems to use slightly less water. Very happy with it.
Game Changer! This little beauty does exactly what it claims! I like my clothes to have a very pressed look, and this Tefal iron enables me to do just that. It delivers a very powerful burst of steam that eliminates creases, and the soleplate glides effortlessly over all varieties of fabrics. I don’t need to use any ironing spray anymore - even on linens. Its clear water tank makes it very easy to determine how much water is in the tank. It heats up very quickly and has a decent length cord. So far, it hasn’t left any calcium deposits on my clothes. It definitely reduces my ironing time. It is on the heavier side compared to other irons and costs a bit more than the average iron ($179). But, for me, it was well worth the extra dollars.
