Can't iron because of soiling from iron – The troubleshoot page in the User Manual says to do an easi-clean, but nowhere that I can find in the manual or the accompanying guide explains how to do that! Show details

Disappointed – It glides, it irons well but the main problem is when I stand it up it spits hot water out onto the floor and anybody by walking past. I tried with tap water, distilled water and 50/50. Made no difference. Steam seams to be either on or off. The instructions are hard to understand and don’t really explain anything. I am retuning it today. Not sure what to get in it’s place. Show details

Worst iron ever – This iron doesnt even get hot if you dont turn the steam function on.! When you do it leaves watermarks on the fabrics being ironed. I am going to either trash it or ask Tefal for a refund. Not fit for purpose. Show details

Reliable and efficient iron – Have owned this iron for around three years now and it’s used at least twice a week for ironing a range of clothing for a family of four. Heats up very quickly and the durilium sole plate is as non-stick and as durable as it gets! Cord could be longer though. Show details

Do yourself a favour and avoid this product! – Purchased this iron from JB and used it only once before returning it. The reasons being: 1) Steam spitting all over the ironing board and loud constant hissing. Yes, I had it set for steam but this was ridiculous! My ironing board was wet after only ironing 2 shirts. It was still spitting steam when sitting upright at the end of the ironing… Read more

board as I moved my shirt to iron the next side. Take a look at the pic of my ironing board. 2) Electrical cable is so short. I'm used to a Sunbeam iron with a decent length cable on it. Again take a look at the comparison with the cable on my old Sunbeam in the pic. You can guess which brand I have replaced this Tefal with! I do NOT recommend this product.

Horrible, avoid! – Purchased and returned within 24 hours. Cord is so short, which meant that when using a low power outlet, it was constantly getting snagged and caught in the clothes. Is advertised was ‘no drip’, but was worse than my 5 year old Philips iron. When standing the iron up with steam activated, it blew steam/water drops everywhere. Avoid this one. Show details

Too noisy – Bought this product because my last Tefal iron was excellent. This one crackles and hisses so loudly that I cannot use it on 'steam'. Very poor for the price. Will be returning it to the store. Show details

Tefal irons best product in the market – Love the Tefal iron, easy to handle, has amazing heat which makes it so easy and quick to do the ironing. Fabulous steam functions, easy to fill with water, long cord. Just the best. I use mine on full heat and steam function. Just presses perfectly and so quick. Turn the temperature down for light fabrics.  Show details

Great iron – I only ever buy Tefal because of their durilium soleplate. Never had any issues with it when I had my previous iron for over 3 years, so I bought this version for $95 at JB hi Fi after they price matched and then beat the good guys price. (Currently listed for $129 at JB hi-fi). I always use half steam, so that gets me through 5 shirts all with one full tank of water.  Show details
