Stay away – Poor quality. They delivered different bouquet than I ordered. So much money for nothing. Stay away.
Worst online experience ever – From Aus to Indonesia. Filled out everything as requested, all personal details etc. Paid via visa card. Receipt confirmed. Then got refunded after 2 days, no delivery. No explanation except when I emailed them they responded that sometimes they think orders are fraudulent. Or as I understand, "we couldnt be bothered to do your order so we just refunded" Show details
100th Birthday – I ordered flowers for my auntie in Finland for her 100th birthday. Wendy took my order and she was polite, patient and professional and went through all my order details confirming that everything was correct. The flower arrangement was very beautiful and it was delivered on my auntie’s birthday. I would highly recommend Teleflora for their excellent service, thank you very much!

I paid for TULIPS for there's NO Tulips and just bunch of cheap flowers??? please don't buy from here!! what a scam!! Show details
Flowers never delivered – My friend in Hawaii has had a rough year so I ordered flowers to be delivered to her on her birthday on September 19th. The flowers didn't arrive. When I followed up a couple of days later I was told they were delivered, however, my friend did not receive them. I followed up a number of times after and was told they would be given to a different… Read more
florist and delivered asap. It is now over a week later and they still haven't been delivered.
I wish I had read some of these reviews first
False advertising – What we ordered direct from their website pink/orange arrangement with pink vase was not what was delivered. The vase was not pink and smaller completely different arrangement. Never be hoodwinked by this company. Show details

Terrible product and service – Paid nearly $100 for flowers for Mother’s Day and she received 4 gerberas. The photo online showed a large bouquet about three times the size of what she ended up getting. I was embarrassed and disgusted about what my mother received. I wrote to them and they offered a $10 refund. Don’t buy flowers from these people. They are rip off merchants who don’t care about their customers. Show details

Excellent – I ordered a bouquet on Sunday to be delivered in New Zealand to a friend whose Mum had died. They were delivered promptly on Monday. My friend sent a photo and they were really beautiful, she was delighted with them and said they were the best she had received. A confirmation email would be the only improvement I could suggest. Flowers not delivered – I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday through Teleflora. The flowers were not delivered but was told my mother had signed for them although she was 500 kilometres away. I asked them to proved she had signed but they stopped responding to my messages. I chased the order with the local florist I had assigned and they confirmed having never received the order. Avoid this company.

Flowers not delivered – Placed and order to be delivered to my wife's work on valentines day. Flowers were never delivered. No explanation. Agreed to refund.
Half dead roses in a poorly put together arrangement in a tacky vase – Horrible. Just horrible. For what you pay (approx. $130) for what is actually delivered - a half dead dozen red roses, bruised/damaged leaves (clearly not from transport given they are browning around the tears), in a tacky unattractive vase. False advertising at its finest to think what is actually in the picture what actually comes. I'm… Read more
actually embarrassed for Teleflora as a business.
Happy these were just a Valentine's gift and not something I spent my hard earned cash on cause I would be feeling pretty cheated.

Not Impressed with Quality – Sent flowers to my mum for her birthday. She didn't want to say anything to me but when I asked for pictures she had no choice. Flowers were not fresh like they should be. Roses dying in 3 days of being delivered. Flowers dropping next day she received them. I sent two emails with pictures and no response so then I phoned to be told she would send… Read more

No show! – Ordered flowers for a sick friend. Find out 4 days later she didn't recieve them (lucky I asked her). Emailed Teleflora (Petals HQ) the'd get back to me. Rang them after I hadn't heard anything. Told it was a busy day when I ordered - Valentine's Day was the next day. Asked if I wanted the flowers re-sent or my money back. .?? course I wouldn't re- order. I wanted to know why they hadn't been delivered so emailed again. Reply - order got lost in the system. So if I hadn't asked my friend if she'd got the flowers I'd never had known they hadn't been delivered.
SO BEWARE BEFORE ORDERING.

use interflora...teleflora has no idea what there up to – I have a friend who in the space of a week lost 2 people in her family her nan and dad I sent flowers via interflora for her nan to there home address not knowing that there was no one home was In formed by my friend that they were at the marae I got on the ph and called interflora and spoke to the customer service representative who might I add… Read more
was very helpful i asked if I could get the address changed as there would be no one home she asked for the address to the marae and advised she will be sending a email to verify that the address had been changed as requested 2 min later I recieved the email and about 15min later recieved an email stating that the flowers had been successfully delivered followed by a text from my friend saying thank you for the flowers it put a smile on her face I was happy to hear ...all that took place on the day of delivery ( and I ordered from Australia to be delivered in New Zealand) THANKS INTERFLORA :-) then 6 days later her dad past away I couldnt believe it...... :'( so back to the net to send her some flowers as I couldn't be there in flesh...this time I used teleflora thinking the same thing would happen except this time I knew where to send them. Purchased and for delivery today i called just to double check that they recieved my order and that they would be delivered Today I got told to call back in 10 min as thats how long it takes for them to recieve it. called back in 10 an asked if they recieved it and if this delivery would be there this after noon the operator asked are they being delivered to a rural area i advised they were being delivered to a marae but its not in the city of auckland its in south auckland she asked is that a rural area ( im thinking I dont know do yous class it as a rural area) I said that its still in auckland just not In the city its In the suburbs of south auckland she said oh i wouldnt know im in australia but yes we have recieved your order and it will be on today's delivery i just wont be able to give you a estimated time of delivery happy with that I went on with my day to recieve a email stating they were unsuccessful as they were in the wrong suburb as I never stated auckland on my form Grrrrrrrrr anywho cut along story short to save yourself the drama use interflora they get the job done.
Bad service – Valentines Day. My wife is interstate looking after her Mother who has just had a knee major operation. Ordered flowers 3 days prior, but they failed to arrive. After many attempts and long waits on the telephone the rudeness of the person I spoke to would put a Wharfie to shame. Buy youre flowers elsewhere
Alas to no avail! – On Tues 01-May-12 I ordered 5 bouquets to be delivered through Teleflora thinking it would be a reliable florist being such a huge international company. Four bouquets were to NZ (which were absolutely fantastic!), and 1 locally in North Qld for delivery Fri 04-May. On Weds 02-May I received a call from Teleflora needing to confirm the address… Read more
for the local delivery as they believed the Postcode did not match the Suburb (which it actually does but apparently not in the Teleflora system). After a lot of confusion at their end and a lot of explanation on my end, I stupidly assumed that ‘their’ error had been corrected. Alas this was not the case as I found out, after asking a friend of the recipient if the flowers had been received. Of course the friend asked the recipient if she had received the flowers, only to hear the answer ‘NO’, and subsequently ruining the intended ‘surprise’.
Thus, being a little annoyed, on Tues 08-May I phoned Teleflora to inquire about the non-delivery. The phone girl was very confused with trying to match my order details (that I had received from Teleflora themselves via email), with her computer order details, and finally suggested that “yes, they have been delivered” when I had to insist that “no, they had not”. She then left me with, “yeah, not sure why, I’ll ring your local Teleflora florist to see what’s going on and we will call you back”. Alas to no avail!
So I rang again on Weds 09-May, a little more irritated. This phone girl seemed a bit more on top of things, but again initially still a little confused with trying to match my order details against hers, and again suggesting that it had been delivered. She then confirmed that “yes, a message had been left with the local florist and they were waiting on a reply” and she again advised that “we will get back to you today”. When I queried this with a “that’s what I was told yesterday, do I need to call you back tomorrow”, she responded with a firm “no, it will definitely be this afternoon”. Alas to no avail!
Roll on Fri 11-May, and being even more upset to the lack of replies I was receiving, I phoned Teleflora yet again. Once around mid-day – met with a “we are busy, please leave a message and we will return your call”. And again around 4pm – met with another “we are busy, please leave a message and we will return your call”. Both times I left a detailed message with Name, Number, and Order Details. Alas to no avail!
Needless to say, by the time I rang again the next day on Sat 12-May I was pretty peeved and very frustrated. The phone girl this time was able to tell me pretty much straight away that “oops, the flowers had been delivered but in the wrong city”. On hearing this I crankily quizzed her as to “why was I not contacted”, to which she matter-of-factly replied “well, this is a busy week for us as it’s Mothers Day tomorrow”. What the? Unbelievable – so blasé. Then, after much debate from her about where the actual suburb was and what the actual postcode was – keeping in mind that NONE of this was MY error – I snapped at her (wrongly yes I know but she was almost trying to shift the blame away from Teleflora and I have no idea where she was going with it because my provided suburb and postcode actually do exist). So, yes by this time I was absolutely exasperated so I snapped and said “so what are you going to do about it? Am I going to receive a refund?” To which she replied “yes, you can either cancel the delivery now and we will give you a full refund, or you can have the delivery made immediately”. Not good enough! We then argued about the fact that the company needed to make reparations as it was the company who was at fault. After completely losing it with her I asked for her boss.
Now this woman was pretending to help and calm the situation by offering a box of chocs to go with the flowers, but she came across as arrogant and patronizing. Of course I was in noooo mood to deal with her, especially when she continued to advise me that “no company would give a refund as well as continue to provide the product/service”. To which I replied, “yes, there are company’s out there who do exactly that when they have made the mistake as it’s just Good Business”, and something I would expect from such a reputable company. I then brazenly asked for the Owner, who was conveniently “not in today”. Feeling like I was about to jump through the phone, I took a breath, accepted her lame box of chocs and sorry note to go with the flowers and ended the call.
Seriously! Had my issue been dealt with professionally and efficiently from the onset then I honestly would have accepted the ‘sorry offer’, continued with the order and been a little annoyed at the ‘slip-up'. Instead, not only did the flowers not get delivered, not only was the surprise ruined, and not only were they 2 weeks late (as Fri was the only day they could be delivered to the recipient), but I had to chase Teleflora all week to fix their problem, only to be met with confusion, arrogance, and not a lot of ‘oops, sorry, completely our fault and our apologies for not getting back to you immediately!' A very bitter taste!
But a big thumbs up to the local Mackay florist who delivered a fantastic bunch of flowers. Wish I knew who you were so we could deal with you directly. Fantastic Mackay Teleflora Florist & Fantastic NZ Teleflora Extremely Poor Customer Service and Communication
Didn't deliver my bouquet, then charged me $15 cancellation fee! – I ordered and paid online for a bouquet to be delivered to a friend after the loss of a family member. Two weeks later, when I discovered that the bouquet had not yet been delivered, I sent a second email to the company asking what was happening (sent the first email after one week). Some four weeks after my payment and order had gone through, I… Read more
received an email response saying that they couldn't deliver on the exact day I wanted (I requested a weekend delivery if possible), and had therefore not delivered the bouquet at all. When I asked for a refund, they deducted $15 'service fee' from my account. Atrocious beyond belief.
No service; poor to non-existent communication; rip off customers
Good – I will use them first choice because they are a big name who use quality products in their hampers and flower arrangements. They are easily available to find and I have ordered many last minute deliveries with them, and they have always done a good job. The flowers were exactly what I saw on their website and they were fresh and clean. Overall, a… Read more
great choice for peace of mind flower delivery, especially if you do it last minute like I do :) I have used Teleflora to send flowers and I have to admit that even though they were slightly more expensive, they delivered at the correct time and that gave me peace of mind! They have a great choice of arrangements which will suit most wallets and you can have them linked to deliver anywhere in the world. Are a bit more expensive and if you have time to investigate a florist delivery service, you may find many who are cheaper, but because they are such a big name, they really do deliver!
Excellent – yes I would use again as they werent the cheapest but the product deliery and dealing with them was first class. I needed to change an address on the day and there was no problems. I used teleflora at Valentines day as last year the company I used did not delivery..... My wife loved the product and comment on how fresh the roses were.... No much can be said, as I my wife loved them
Good – I wanted to send flowers to my friend in another state. Their online service was really easy and they had heaps of flowers to pick from. I put in my application on Sunday night and Monday morning the flowers arrived along with the chocolate. I was very happy with this service and I'll continue using it in the future. Lots of choices, good price, reliable They don't mention what chocolate they use
Good – Overall, Imust say that is very good. You can ship flowers anywhere in the world, and the prices are quite reasonable. I would suggest you use Teleflora over other wire services. I love Teleflora. It is easy to use, and there can be substitutions made. I find it less expensive than the other wire services, and the online application is unbeatable.… Read more
I have found that some of the Florists are not as knowledgeable about the products and flowers as one would expect. Sometimes I have seen work that makes me wonder if they even know what they are sending. These instances are few and far between though.
Excellent – Very impressed I ordered the flowers to be delivered to my sister in hospital in Newcastle I live in Sydney.I placed the order at 1.45pm & my sister recieved them at 3.30pm.
