More costly rubbish – Pretty poor phone brought the phone for rural area and country area as I had a tough 2 phone and I wanted to upgrade to a new one with the blue tick but it is not what you think it is Telstra had put a new tower in where I was no good so stuck to my old tough 2. Not worth the money, have put my life on my old tough 2.  Show details

GREAT PHONE !! – I can't believe what I am reading here !!. I have been using these phones for the last 6 years and find them excellent. I live in northern Victoria and travel regularly in Australia and New Zealand and very rarely do I not have reception. I use the Telstra network. I find the phone to be very user friendly and would have no worries about recomending them.

Is not user friendly – Difficult to unlock in the dark and requires 3 button presses. Keypad does not light up until phone is unlocked. When typing, if a word is not known and you spell it the word is saved, no choice there. Upper case can not be selected after first letter is typed. Display is hard to see in sunlit areas. difficult to remove. Battery cover can be difficult to put back on without disturbing the battery position and has a lock that does not work. Internet pages do not display correctly. I only use this phone when I need to use the external antenna. It can use an external antenna. Software/firmware is very annoying.

Not up to scratch – Purchased phone for use in Country Areas. A cheaper phone from telstra ($57) has a much better coverage, using the same aerial(4 bars compared to emergency calls only). The phone has some good features :sturdy, compact. There is no value for money in this phone as I Believe it does not have the benifits that telstra claim. Very expensive for what it does.
