Tempur Cloud Breeze 22

Good mattress – Feel a bit let down. Spent a lot of money for it. I suffer from Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of inflammatory arthritis that targets the joints of the spine. It first affects the sacroiliac (SI) joint, where the spine attaches to the pelvis, and then starts to affect other areas of the spine, my hips and shoulders are affected, My back feels stiff and I have reduced mobility in the spine. I have had a mattress for the last 10 years and the last couple of years sleeping on it had become unbearable. My partner and I researched extensively for a good mattress, When we came across the tempur cloud we thought cause it was made by nasa space technology , it would have been the answer to finally having a good sleep, with little if no pain at all. How wrong I was!!!!! Pain in my mid back has reduced by 50% but the pain in my lower back and hips have increased a lot, i keep turning and tossing to get some relief . I feel like I wasted our money..... I wasted 4 thousand dollars to be exact

Terrible waste of money – The Cloud 22 seemed very comfortable in the shop. However in practice it turn out to be unpleasantly hot and it sagged in the middle. My spine was definitely not straight. I suspect the Cloud 22 is designed for obese people, however the Tempur sales material doesn't mention this. The main problem with the Cloud 22 is the top layer which consists of 6cm of extremely soft Tempur ES foam. This layer traps heat whilst providing virtually no support. Fortunately I was able to avoid having send the mattress to the tip. I discovered it was possible to peel the top layer of foam off (its glued on). I replaced the Tempur ES foam with a much firmer mattress topper made by Dunlop in Australia. The renovated mattress is very comfortable, being firm but not hot. The mattress cover is washable. Expensive, hot, saggy, uncomfortable.
