I would not give it one star – I recently have upgraded my home internet plan to 1000Mbps/ 50 Mbps, I purchased two pairs of this AC1200 from Kogan last year for home wifi mesh extension in the house. This ac1200 self-claimed 2.4GHz/ 5GHz dual bands supported. Only to find out this is false info and written in the specification manual. 2.4 GHz is alright and it transmitted only… Read more

up to 100Mbps download stream rate. Once trying to use 5GHz sequence band, Guess What! None!!! All home internet speed on 1000GHz Mbps with 5GHz band dropped to under 100Mbps in 2.4 GHz only. There is no function in setup app to allow you change transmission channels either. So all signals are stuck on the 2.4GHz band for transmission. It is false information on a faulty product and it is designed to use product manual to trick consumers. Tried to talk to Kogan customer service and said it is wear and tear and it is out of one year warranty. Nothing could be done. What rubbish. The fake product never out off date. So I ended up with six of ac1200 nods running on 100Mbps download stream in 2.4GHz on my 1000Mbps internet plan. For people see this post, do not buy this ac1200 if you want your internet speed faster than 100Mbps. Forget about easy connection and cheaper price now, it is simply rubbish you need to avoid.

Beware of privacy concerns. Over 600,000 Chinese website queries in 11 days – Buyer beware. I purchased a three-pack with an extra node as a part of a promotion on Amazon for a very cheap $99. I, however, returned it 11 days later due to privacy concerns and not working with my Foxtel box. The first problem I found was when my Foxtel box was connected to the mesh, and it buffered the streaming of programs every few… Read more

seconds and was unwatchable. However, it worked flawlessly if I connected my Foxtel through my router's wifi. The next problem, and the most concerning, was that this Tenda mesh system contacted three overseas websites thousands of times every hour. The logs showed that the Tenda mesh wifi made over 600,000 individual queries over eleven days. See the proof in the attached photos taken of the queries. I know of these queries because I run a Pi-Hole system (blocks ads) on my network, and it logs all internet queries to the internet and from which devices the queries come. My Tenda mesh system was on my home network on 192.168.20.49. I did a google search and found that most of the 600,000 queries were to three Chinese websites. www.bidu.com www.qq.com www.taobo.com

Super easy to setup and works as intended – It's very easy to setup and the companion app is very self explanatory, and the most important thing is it works as intended it definitely helped boost signals in blackspots. Show details

As good as it gets – I have a long home and a separate building at the back l could never get a good signal at the rear building using repeaters. Bought the Tenda Mw3 it was straight forward to set up and now l have very good wifi throughout the house and rear building a 5 star product at a fair price. Show details

Highly Recommend Great Home Mesh Wi-Fi System – The Tenda Nova MW3 mesh Wi-Fi system is a great addition to any medium to large home Wi-Fi network imo. You can use the Nova system with the existing system (in bridge mode) or you can run both and shut off the Wi-Fi signal on your main router (not recommended however). It's a brilliant piece of kit has significantly improved the Wi-Fi signal at… Read more

our two storey house. With the Tenda Nova MW3 3 pack we are able to get pretty much a full Wi-Fi signal from any where around the house which we weren't able to before. Plus it's only a bit over the $100 mark compared to other mesh Wi-Fi systems which are well over the $200 mark. Also it's very easy to set up highly recommend it.

Weak Signal! – I am not really satisfied with the connectivity of the router to my devices. Range of three routers have to be close, otherwise the signal is weak. Internet speed isn’t as stable and as fast, dropouts happen a few times an hour on average. However, the set up and management of this router are pretty easy. Show details

Love it! Mesh network setup and configured in minutes – After purchasing multiple "range extenders" to increase the WiFi network at my smallish 3 bedroom house with no improvement, I decided to give a "cheaper" mesh setup a go to see what would happen. Blow me down, this thing is amazing! Plug them in, download and configure through the app and you're set. I'm getting super fast download speeds… Read more

throughout my house with no pause whilst the switching happens.

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to extend their WiFi.

That's perfect. Cannot live without it – Bought this from MWave and tested that for one whole week didn't drop the line at all. Cover full 2 levels house and only paid $149 for bargain. Love it!
