We purchased a Getha latex topper from here. Product is poor quality. My wife and I are not heavy people but the topper has deteriorated very quickly. The area where our hips contact the topper has Flattened and softened badly. Could not recommend Getha latex. Show details

caravan mattress used recently for a 12 month around Australia trip). The latest purchase is a mattress and base by a family member, the service was honest, knowledgeable and personal (thank you Ruth). We continue to use the Back and Neck Bed Shop as we we have found over the years that we can rely on their selection of products to provide value for money (quality and $).

Where do I start? Initially great, then increasingly awful – The good: [Name Removed] was very helpful and knowledgeable in-store and attentive to me and the many customers that day I was there. details to pay and it took 2 weeks to get those details from him but Covid had short-staffed them so I was okay with that. However then came THE BAD: my mattress never showed up on the delivery day. Rang the office, and Bree - who I had booked my delivery with in the first place - said "Oh, our mistake, we don't deliver to your area on this day" so I had to book a redelivery. I wasn't happy but Bree said the delivery fee would be refunded due to the inconvenience. On the rebooked day, delivery was supposed to be coming between 9am-12pm. Never showed up AGAIN! Phoned them, they eventually figured out it had just been picked up and would be coming in the afternoon. It finally arrived around 2:15pm which was inconveniently late. The driver got out and I saw he was by himself to deliver this large latex mattress. If I had known only one person would be sent I would have paid more for two delivery agents. Needless to say, given latex is completely flexible and very heavy, he couldn't manage to bring it inside by himself and I had to help - but even with me helping (I weigh only 40kg) we could not lift it and we were forced to drag it along the bitumen and up my front steps and into my house. I ended up with a sore back (and I think he did too). I noticed a stain on the mattress cover when we took the plastic off but I didn't want to make a fuss so didn't bother reporting it. Anyway, finally had my mattress but I never received my promised refund for the delivery. I contacted Bree twice about this, and gave her the bank details via email, and she kept saying it would be done, but no it was not. By this time I did not have a high opinion of Bree and decided it was pointless to chase her up anymore so I just put up with being inconvenienced and out of pocket. Now, fast-forward to 1 year and 4 months later. I got bed bugs and the exterminator helped me remove the mattress cover (I had never done this as the job was too heavy for me). We both saw the mattress had several areas on one side of tearing where chunks were nearly coming away as well as a couple of smaller bits that were totally broken off. Either it was delivered to me in this condition or this happened when the driver and I were forced to drag it inside my home when it was delivered. Either way, I was now totally unhappy with this company and ended up throwing that mattress away as the cover really could not be put back on without tearing off the chunks. Yes, probably could have made a warranty claim but I'd probably get the run around again and I really didn't want to deal with them any more. I advise you to triple-check everything if you deal with this company and ask for two delivery agents if you are by yourself and can't lift heavy things. The mattress, despite torn chunks, was genuine natural latex and much cooler in summer than my previous one, but I am not sure I would deal with them again. I am now hunting for a new mattress - very carefully this time.

a few weeks of restful sleep that we ordered another Togetha queen for the spare room. Unfortunately delivery wasn't available on the same day with his truck however Kane organised a Direct Courier within 4 hours. Very happy - Mum and Dad have just ordered and received an adjustable bed system.

delivery process was a night mare!!! – The sale process was OK took 4 weeks!!!! but the delivery process was a night mare with the mattress and base being delivered on the back of 2 utes in pouring down rain!!!!! would not recommend this company

Poor quality – We purchased a laytex mattress topper, 3 times the price of others, so believed it should be better quality. Average laytex topper lasts 10 to 20 years, ours got no where near 10, when we queried the quality, we were told 3 years was its life and it wasn't a $10k mattress. Gone all crispy and falling apart. I don't post reviews. I felt compelled to after dealing with the back and neck store. I just hope they see this so they can improve going forward.

Again, I don't want to put too finer point on it but this is the worst I've ever been treated in retail. Do not risk shopping here.

I have top ratings as a buyer and seller on ebay and gumtree for hundreds of transactions. This one ranks firmly last.

Not very accommodating – Purchased 2 Latex toppers using Paypal. Unfortunately shortly after the purchase I discovered the need for them had gone. policy regarding purchases. The reply was somewhat abrupt without any thought of negotiation. I in turn sent a reply explaining my policy regarding shipping times (I gave them 7 days to get the goods to me). That elicited a reply saying that we lived a long way away and shipping may go beyond my times. My reply was my shipping policy is get it to me within the time frame or I would lodge dispute with Paypal. So stay tuned!!

buying a topper. The salesperson suggested I wait until I'd tried the bed to see if it was needed. It is perfectly comfortable without it. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Big mistake – Purchased the mattress from the Cannington shop and it was good at first but after a few months it turned into a hammock and also had petroleum fumes coming from it. after a lot of negotiations they replaced it but didn't replace the pillow top which was filthey from all the sweating on it. After 2 months or so the same thing happened to this one. Next verge collection I tore it into small pieces and and threw it out. $2200 down the toilet.

husband. Again no pressure, just a lovely friendly experience. Of course I took my husband back just before Christmas & Kane stayed open for us as we were coming from the country.

The King Size Adjustable beds we bought have been fantastic, especially for the aches & pains & also for watching television in bed. How decadent! Kane was a pleasure to deal with, being both understanding & generous with his time. I highly recommend this company.
