The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort

Food lovely. Beautiful spot to have a coffee and look at the water. Staff lovely, but busy busy Background music on outside deck way too loud at midday for coffee, lunch, conversation. Instrumental or coastal chill music would be better suited for customers to relax in setting. Minimal parking but car park available across the road

Bistro bumer – I have been to the Beachie bistro many times but the quality of the food and selection has so slipped down the value for money scale that it is simply 'unacceptable'. If I visit the hotel again it will be for drinks only, because the availability of good quality cooked food is non existent. Not being able to order a pastry or some sort of cake with morning tea/coffee was bad enough, the coffee was served cold and had to be returned and the lunch was a shocker. To say the the main meals were anything more than a concoction of reheated trans-fat bogs is probably being kind which is unfortunate because the service and the staff are great and I must say thanks to recognise the very kind manager who helped us with our issues.
