We just purchased a griddle for steaks and other foods, and the box clearly states that it is compatible with induction cooktops. Unfortunately, that is not true — it does not work on induction at all. We only discovered this after using it, so now we can’t return it. Very frustrating and misleading labeling. If you have an induction cooktop, I’d recommend staying away from this brand.
At $19.98 (from Myer on sale), this 30cm wok is a satisfactory and cheaper option for those who want professional results on a budget. It offers elite performance but lacks long-term durability. Conductivity & Crisping: The carbon steel has incredible conductivity. It excels at crisping proteins, but the heat is so intense it can easily scorch or… Read more
spoil food if you aren't tossing it constantly.
Ease of Use: The internal adhesion is excellent. The non-stick surface is slick, making it very easy to use and simple to wipe clean. ✅
Fit & Style: The 30cm fit is perfect for family meals. It has a sleek style and sits perfectly straight and flat on the cooktop, providing a very consistent cooking temperature and ease to use. ✅
The Quality Catch While the cooking surface is great, the exterior finish is fragile. After a single use, the black coating on the back surface (the exterior base) began to peel. It seems the outer paint isn't quite rated for the high-heat volatility that carbon steel produces. ❌

Storage containers are really bad quality. The handles started breaking with few months. Jars got cracks. I bought these from Myers and wouldn't recommend to any one. Bad design.
Follow-up · They were just rinsed with water. There is no cause for cracks as they are pretty new. Few more got cracks after the first review. Spices and lentils were stored in them.
Bought a small non stick pan at Myer, it became super sticky in less than 3 months at a few spots. Should have kept my receipt
I have not been happy with the nonstick saucepans I purchased. They are not nonstick. Food such as omelette sticks and burns. I really cannot recommend this product.
Stay away for your own health and safety – Purchased cookware set from Myer. Honestly very disappointing and unhealthy outcome from the product. Large fry pan used probably at most 10 times in the last 12 months, now cannot be used any longer. Non stick coating had bubbled, and after the last wash the bubbles have popped and exposed the undercoating as well. The image, red circles are… Read more
the exposed undercoating and blue circles are where it has bubbled up. Can’t give less than 1 star, but the health aspect basically makes these useless.
Container lids poor quality – Bought 2 sets of glass container sets from Myers’s straight out of the box one of the lids didn't work and now a second is doing the same issue with barely any use. Unfortunately missed the return period and there is no warranty even though they are expensive? A decent brand or company would send out replacements.
Great quality – I bought both the 3-piece hard anodised frypan set and the 4-piece stainless saucepan set 1.5 years ago and I have been extremely happy with them. Got them on sale at Myer. About $100 for the 3-piece frypan set and about $150 for the 4-piece stainless steel saucepan set. Also bought a massive vat at Myer 3.5 years ago (I use it for making 15L of… Read more · 1
pumpkin soup at a time!). The hard anodised frypans cook really well, they're easy to clean, there's no damage at all, and we use them a lot, with all sorts of foods, and a range of heats. We only use silicon or wooden utensils, though. They've lasted really well. We use them so often we're tempted to buy another set while they're on sale at Myer again! I like the silicone handles. Very comfortable to use. They can't go in the dishwasher, but ah well. You can't have everything in this world! The stainless steel saucepans have been fantastic. The saucepan handles don't get hot - but the handles on the lids CAN get hot sometimes. I like that there's a little circular steam vent on the glass lids. Great for cooking things like rice, or for simmering. And glass lids are wonderful for seeing your foods whilst cooking! I don't like metal lids. I can never see what's happening to my food as it cooks! The glass lids also dome upwards and are not flat, and I think that is very useful for cooking. Flat lids - that are lightweight - often jiggle around when things start steaming in the pot but I have never noticed this problem with the Cooks Collective lids. I don't use the universal steamer much - but it does work, and works well when I do use it. None of the Cooks Collective range I own have had ANY problems. They're light enough to use - especially the vat: that pot is very light and very strong! Really heavy pans can be a problem for cooking, but I have found both the hard anodised and stainless steel ranges to be lightweight and strong. Some of the reviews on here show people haven't had a great time with their Cooks Collective gear - but that has not been my experience at all. So far, so good, and I've been using them for YEARS.
I wish I never bought these – Extremely disappointed, I wish I never purchased these from Myer. Our nonstick 8 piece set is rusty after only 6 months, I’m now going to have to purchase a new set
Stay away from Cooks Collective skillet – We got the Cooks Collective skillet and some Circulon pans in a Myer sake. Really happy with the Circulon pans. Alternatively the Cooks collective skillet is super heavy, handles get hot so need gloves, didn't heat up to a good steak level, 2 uses only and already has marked coating. Very poor
Best Saucepan Ever ! – I have bought many saucepans and frypans in the past, but The Cooks Collective saucepan is the best, by far ! I have had it for a year now and it is still non-sticking ( if there is such a word ), as good as when I first bought it. Thoroughly recommend it.
Unpacked & broken handles – I was delighted to be able to purchase my set of 6 Cooks Collective saucepan set purchased at Myers Castle Hill this morning. I’d read the reviews and all were glowing. Started to unpack the box and was so disappointed to have the 2 saucepans with broken handles, right at the point where the handle meets the pan. I have tried to call the store… Read more
but they don’t answer the phone, now I’ve got to lug the heavy box back to the store. What a pain and inconvenience!!
