Overcharged and dishonest.. I got ripped off – My property manager engaged this business to repair a door that wasn't closing properly. They charged me 2 hours ($220) to do this job which takes 20 minutes! The striker plate needed to be moved down 1cm so the latch could close properly. called them to ask why the bill was so high and they said it took 2 hours work! I said that's unlikely so she said she would check the GPS tracker on the work truck and said "oh sorry about that, it only took 1 hour". So she reduced the bill to $145. So they are liars, cheats and overcharge. Avoid using them for any type of work if you don't like getting ripped off.

Never let me down – I have used this firm 4 times and it has always been a positive experience, they have always charged me a fair and reasonable fee. I can highly recommend this company

Blaming Us for a Problem They Caused – Don't use Esteem Group. They were working on a drain in our building which then caused an explosion in my washing machine. They acknowledged that the explosion was caused by the work they did and that they'd escalate it to their director to authorise to be fixed. correctly do the remediation. We appreciated that in all dealings we had a specific name and number at the home business site and on the work site we had name and number of the supervisor to speak to at all times, which we did with questions and for information. Very well run outfit: professional, helpful, and skilled tradesmen. Can't beat that for service.

Terrible – Owner non responsive, didn’t follow through when couldn’t attend to urgent repairs. Finally sent out a couple of people who couldn’t even manage to string a few sentences together to request the house keys when picking them up. Call anyone else. Anyone.

Rip-off over-quote – A licensed plumber made a mess of a job, and I needed another plumber to fix this. One quote was from the Esteem Group in Ringwood North. them at the site); paint (done, tins of paint at the site); replace a wash trough (I did not ask for this); and a few more unnecessary things. I said that the kitchen needed tiling; they did not quote for the kitchen. I did not select Esteem as they did not follow my written job specifications, quoted for things that were unsuitable (like removing non-existent tiles) and their price was too high, over $15,000, not including the kitchen. I paid about 20% of this to 100% plumbing and Western Renovations, did lovely jobs.
