Christmas snacks which slowed down the weight loss. In early February I was below 100 kgs for the first time in 30 years! This morning (May 3rd) I am over 17kg down, weighing 94.2 kgs. In the past few months I have added half a cup of frozen berries / fruit to my morning shake along with an occasional afternoon snack. The vanilla and chocolate vegan shakes (I am dairy intolerant) are easy to prepare and tasty. I don't feel hungry in the mornings or early afternoons, , the shakes fill me up. By dinner time I am hungry which is great, I really appreciate the meal. Adding a small snack in the afternoon has helped get me through easily to dinner. My weight loss has slowed as I add in an occasional lunch or breakfast if my whanau are eating out. My goal now is not rapid weight loss but development of a new lifestyle that will maintain the weight loss. People have noticed and ask about my weight loss with several of them now using Man or Ladyshakes. One outcome I hadn't thought through was the need to buy new clothes, my favourite shirts and pants are too big and my belts have run out of holes. My first goal was to get to 100 kgs, now it is to get to 90. If you want to lose weight give this a try, it works!
