The Mower Mega Store West Gosford

You’d think spending over $50K at one mower shop would earn you decent service. But after years of dealing with Mower Mega Store, all I’ve earned is a long list of repairs, delays, and one mechanic blaming a twig for a major clutch failure. I’ve bought a professional ride-on mower, brush cutter, blower and more — all Husqvarna gear — and time… Read more
after time I’ve had to return with the same unresolved issues. Repairs don’t stick, parts are triple the cost of aftermarket, and even the basics can take 3 to 6 months to arrive. Thank goodness for the 5-year warranty.
The kicker? When my ride-on’s electromagnetic clutch failed, seized, and tore itself out of the machine, their mechanic pointed to a small twig — 10mm wide, 10cm long — lodged in the bodywork after the fact, and claimed that was the likely cause. That’s the level of technical insight I was dealing with.
They dominate the Central Coast, but I’m done. I’ll be moving to brands like Stihl or Honda — ones I can get properly serviced without the circus
Whear is the warranty? – Charged two times for the ride-on lawn mower and no Warranty. Do not do business with the Taggerah mega store, you will be sorry. On 28/02/2023 I purchase a Husqvarna ride-on lawn mower. The belt was coming off and I will put it back again.Until one year later it was coming off all the time and I could not cut the lawn. I booked in for service.… Read more
The store provides a courtesy trailer. They told me to go at the back of the shop to pick it up. So I did it all by myself no help from them, I should not have been allowed in the work shop. I traveled about 20 meters and the trailer fell and broke the chain holding the trailer this happened in their property and their equipment. They tald me to come back about one hour later so they could fix the trailer. When I came back to pick it up I was tald that it would cost me two hours for the machanic to weld the chain back to the trailer. I told them that the trailer was faulty this is way the trailer came off. One week later the ride-on was serviced I went to pick it up. I was charged $554.40 for the service including the welding of the trailer $129.00 What happened to the warranty? The ride-on lawn mower must have been faulty thats way the belt was coming off all the time O, yes I fogot to say that when I purchase the ride-on lawn mower they charged me two times for it and has taken about two months to get the second charge back after many excuses by them, I cald them by phone many times. Dishonest people not to do buisinness with them. Question, what to do with the Warranty? Can anyone help. Please. PS. unfrienley rude sales stuff person. John the Bucher.
Poor customer service – I’d bought a whipper snipper from Bunnings which was only 3 months old the pull start had broken so I returned it . They referred me to Mower Mega Store for repair the sales guy was extremely rude & arrogant requesting $40 to look a faulty product under warranty. I’ve been to the other stores on the Central Coast & had a positive experience not from this employee today 23/5/22 at the West Gosford Store .
