Gunmetal - Modkingz Wheels = $1,316 - Modkingz Fitting Kit = $99 - Fitting at my choice of Fitter = $120 - Total cost = $1,535

TTF - Fitted cost = $1,440 and peace of mind.

Then and there, I booked a set of tyres for my SUV. Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance SUV - Tyroola @ $302ea + Fitting. TTF did the same tyres for $229ea fitted. They even did the alignment for free.

The place is chockers with customers but they're so patient and efficient with everyone, cracking jokes, the atmosphere is friendly.

Customer for life.

Total Rip Off – Was approached in my driveway by a salesman offering Labour free Log Book service for paying a 1 off fee of $99.00 at Cranbourne store. When I came to use it I could not contact business by phone as it rang out nor book on line as it never went thru. Not prepared to go to store to make booking & put it down to education. Very poor service and tyres – I bought 4 secondhand tyres from the fern tree gully store. 2 of them did not pass my road worthy as they were cracked. I have asked for a refund as they were unfit for sale under Australian consumer law. I could not show them as evidence to the tyre factory as my mechanic had disposed of them. Dandenong store not so good, Ferntree Gully much better – Rang and got a quote for 4 new tyres to be fitted. got quotes $80 each including fitting and balancing so $320. Within one hr I went in and they set up the job card and told me $360. I said no I rang an hr ago and was quoted 80 each, not 90. They didn't add balancing or disposal when you rang was the response. raining. Went to FTG and got them there for the right price. Rang Dandenong yesterday (lunchtime) to ask questions, "will get Chris to call you after current customer". Well its 24 hrs later and still no call. Never Ever go to Dandenong store.

Misleading representations and incompetence – Similar to other reviewers, I discussed 2nd hand tyres on the phone and was told they had a set of 4 with min 70% tread. When I arrived I was shown one of the tyres off the rack and agreed to buy a set. tyre pressures and they were at 290 Kpa which is dangerously high. Recommended is 200 Kpa. The car has been bouncing all over the road, but because we haven’t had it long, thought it was harder suspension. Will not take any of our family’s 5 cars, caravan or trailers there for tyres and will not recommend them to our friends/ auto club members.

Long wait times, forgot to do wheel alignment, double price of elsewhere – Was told the price for tyres was $200 each and getting a bargain at $145.00 but can buy anywhere for $75-$90.00. After waiting over an hour to fit 4 tyres already on rims (they did that day before as too busy to fit on car) and remove old ones took over an hour wait. another trip back there. Stickers left on tyres, mags left dirty, alignment took another 45 mins and then forgot to charge and had to correct it again. Said staff new. Poor customer service. So three trips there, 3 hours wasted and over charged by double for lousy service-Ferntree Gully store. Would not recommend at all.

Witnessed bad service and absolute ripped off – They charged $80 for a tyre rotation! Bloke down the street charges $20! were brand new only have changed them a few months ago). all 3 tyres were miraculously punctured.... DODGY. now I know what happened, they drove my car out and punched the nails in myself so that they can use my tyres to sell second hand. when asked why i saw my car driven out, they said they just wanted to check the engine. I dont know if any mechanic needs to do that DODGY. Never come here. Of course making me buy their brand new tyres. SO DODGY.

another guy who was really nice and showed me to a pile of relatively new, but used dunlop tyres and said he could put these on. i agreed then went and waited... an hour later went and paid drove home looked at the tyres and they were all bridgestone. Although that is a good brand they looked much more worn than the ones i was originally shown and thought were going to be installed on my car... two things about this 1. i didn't get what i was supposed to get and 2. they didn't even ask me if i wanted to pay a little more for the better tyres (i would have). seriously wth. i don't live close so i will not be returning. bad business practices.

compensation, it never happened, it took 4 weeks before I could finally fit the wheels, then to only find out one wheel does not sit on the car correctly, it wobbles, A TOTAL NIGHTMARE , I’ve brought many wheel packages over the years, this was beyond a joke, go elsewhere , a huge waste of time... very poor communication and service

Don’t trust these morons with your car.

Great Price and Speedy Service Couldn't be happier! – Took my car to The Tyre Factory in Braybrook to get some work done and had a great experience, The quote over the phone was accurate with no hidden costs and the staff are friendly and honest. back with new valves, the alloy wheels and new tyres were clean, and they charged quite reasonably. Hopefully they still have a good work ethic because I'm looking at getting some tyres changed soon and might give them another go.
