The Windmill Garage

Copy of review posted on Google. "Not recommended. Commits perjury in court, lies to Qld Attorney General Dept. Refuses to produce evidence of trade qualifications. $1800 approx (PAID IN CASH) for an oil change? Hands the vehicle back in proven, worse condition than delivered (remap & intake decoke). Quote to rectify the damage is double the very shoddy work performed. To top it all off, then refuses to provide an itemized invoice & details of the third party who wrote the program which should have a warranty with it. Not to be trusted. Go figure. Update 8/8/25 (& in response): We've been active (now senior) members of the community for over 25 years, former sub editor of our local monthly newspaper - a volunteer position. I have been a respectable & trustworthy business owner for double that time in the music industry, I am mechanically minded. This court matter was not decided upon in favour of either party, rather, the respondent and his partner, a former employee of Q CAT & a solicitor, had the matter 'dismissed'.
They also attempted to have the matter dismissed during the submission process ( a so called clever trick by the legal fraternity). It was rejected. No mediation was conducted in the lead up to the hearing, which is both standard practice & was our main objective at the commencement of legal action. Threats, intimidation & slander from the owner of Windmill Garage were not acceptable. The basis of all opinions & statements provided by the respondent are contested. I do feel it is matter of a miscarriage of justice & there is still an opportunity to appeal despite being out of time. We don't need people/ businesses like this in the community who cannot be trusted, end of story. To cast insulting insinuations as to my financial status is also a very low if not defamatory act. I may add that the respondent was not so long ago granted citizenship, not a great beginning or example to set I'd suggest, and may I remind one and all about the oath he swore to king and country. This business is not to be trusted. Period."
The public response is also defamatory & beggars belief.
