Great way to turn standard shower taps into a thermostatically controlled mixer tap – This product is designed to convert standard shower taps with separate hot and cold taps into a temperature controlled mixer tap. It is a very solidly made product that does not require changes to plumbing. It adapts to the existing tap fixtures by removing the old tap valves and fitting this device. Once fitted, one handle turns water off and on, while the other handle sets the temperature you want. The temperature will be controlled to your setting perfectly. The outlet of the device connects to the hose for a hand held shower head. The beauty of these devices is that you can turn off the water flow with one handle, lather up, turn the water back on, and the thermostatic control ensures the water temperature stays the same. Well worth a look. Mine has been in service now for two years.
