Thetford Mk3 Caprice stove poor design and badly made – Thought at the price this stove would be well made but this was far from the case - poorly made with light materials, no sides supplied. Knobs broke in first few months. The clip that holds knob onto spline totally inadequate - company refused to replace under warranty.
Purchased in for $1,200.

2018 Caprice MK 3 – Cooker looks good out of the box. The oven and small burner do not light with the igniter but do light with a lighter. The oven does not cook food evenly. To bake anything you have to turn the tray and for bread you have to invert the loaf during baking. One of the burners does not produce full power. The grill is inadequate as the burner is not wide enough. The brushed stainless top is very hard to clean and never looks clean. The central vent is a trap for any spills and requires dismantling of the top for access to clean. Rust appeared along the edges of the cooker after the first weeks use and has increased over our 15 months of daily operation. This cooker is poorly designed and build quality is low.
Purchased in for $1,650.

Works, looks good, BUT! – Stove Works ok, Grill barely adequate due to only having narrow centre burner. Oven works Ok but no temperature setting like home just 1-10 setting. Not happy with cooktop stainless as has breather slots in it I'd say for airflow for oven and grill and let's stuff from cooking get in and you can't clean it easily at all.
Purchased in at Carac for $1,700.
