1 Ric  · Seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Also not very soft and fresh
1 Ian M.  · Bought on Saturday, mould on bread by Monday. No more sunblest for us.
5 Austin J.  · Tip top is tip top again – Tip Top bread has improved a lot lately. Very happy at the moment.
2 Jules  · Changes – Why has the taste changed? And very dry within a couple of days, very disappointed as l always purchased this, time to change l think
1 peter  · Over paying for stale bread – Sick of buying this bread and every time it’s stale dried out. And they charge enough for it.
1 Alicia  · Average taste, small slices – Tiny size in comparison to most other breads and the taste & texture average. Something has changed in the recipe.

Awful bread - add water and its glue. And what's with the latest ad featuring some faceless brat ordering its mother around while she's making the little ingrate a sandwich? Show a bit of respect - the ad is actually worse than your bread and that's saying something.

I am writing this to highlight a major recurring issue with Tip Top sliced bread. The attached photos show significant "gumming" and structural damage to the loaves. This occurs when the product is sliced before the internal temperature has stabilized. As this has been a persistent issue for several months, it’s clear that immediate action is… Read more

Tip Top, Don't care what they sell – I contacted tip top to notify them about the gross undercooked doughy part that was constantly through all the loaves of bread I was buying. This was ongoing for 3months before I emailed them on the 24th May. And they don't care! Don't buy Tip Top! Thank you "[Name Removed]" from Consumer Information Centre, tip top - for not caring about the money we spend on un-edible product. Show details

Tiptop white sandwiche – I have only bought Tiptop for a very long time, now your bread is cut different widths in one loaf, the bread also has streaks of brown and holes. We bought one last night from Coles at Mount Druitt and a slice of cheese is bigger than the slice of bread. The side of the bread is sucked in like a big V taken out. Show details

Your potato burger buns 4 premium sliced – I spotted your pack of 4 buns and because I wasn't wearing my glasses didn't see the (made with potato) until I'd reached the checkout but decided to try them anyway and am I glad I did because they are fantastic and I'm a really fussy eater. I hope you continue to make these buns as they are great. Show details

Finally a Bread I Don't Throw Away – The Sunblest Wholemeal Mini Loaf is the best product. It stays soft and fresh for several days. Instead of disposing of more than half a loaf I often find myself wishing I had more. Show details

Once was great, now garbage – Quality has been sliding for a few years now, but my most recent purchase of their product will be my last. Light, airy and dry, bought the day it was delivered (5 days on the tag). When making a sandwich, the bread tears and crumbles, when making toast it's brittle and shatters. The rep that replies here saying the recipe has not changed is… Read more

either straight up lying or they themselves are being lied to when they ask. Absolutely dreadful product these days, you can't do this to your customers and not expect them to notice.

Mouldy bread – 100% agree with the earlier comment. Have used this bread for many years with no issue issue, but over the last month or so, have found many slices with mould on them. Sometimes the bread is only a couple of days old. Something has changed…

Something has changed – Something has changed. It has a funny smell and makes me want to be sick like its going bad but Its fresh. I have been buying this bread and only this bread for years and years. What's happened? I might have to go to bakers delight bread now. White toast bread holey and thin – Used to my favourite bread to toast, but have noticed upon the last five purchases the slices have been thin and holey. Price has jacked up won’t bother anymore, out comes the bread machine I think.

Why? Why? Why have you changed our favourite toast? – My husband loves soft white bread. I have been buying the Tip Top "The One toast" for him for the last 5 years or so. I buy 4 or 5 loaves and freeze half of them. They have always been perfect when defrosted. 2 days ago I made 6 sandwiches for my husband to eat on his drive to Tamworth (from South Western Sydney) by the time he got to the 4th one… Read more

he complained they were hard and stale. I found this hard to believe so I tried it for myself. Today I made myself 2 sandwiches. The 1st one was perfect, the 2nd one was starting to get stale around the edges. IN 10 MINUTES. Unbelievable. I will have to find a new brand. Not happy Jan.

Rough texture – I have bought TipTop bread for decades, “the one” is our choice, lately it’s had a rough texture that is unpleasant, thought the recipe may have changed but now the problem seems obvious the cutting blades are blunt,TIP TOP please get maintenance to sharpen them. Show details

Low cost ingredient filler in bread ? – Tip Top Sunblest bread must have undergone a recipe change this year. A new low cost filler ingredient seems to have been added. Historically sawdust was used in tough economic times. The product change seems quite distinct, probably caused by cost containment in the company. Toasting now produces a stiff cardboard tasteless texture. Eaten… Read more

untoasted, its equally a starchy tasteless chomp, and the previously reliable bread taste in Tip Top has disappeared. Sunblest used to be my middle tier cost/quality choice, but I have now reverted, like other peers, to higher priced independent bakery product, which is still reliable, tasty and much fresher. For me its no longer "good on ya mum". Poor decision Tip Top.

Product has altered – Agree with recent reviews. Texture, colour, consistency and taste have changed for worse. Much softer and airy. Have to look elsewhere.

Did the recipe change? – What’s happened? The loafs are now almost stale when you purchase them. It’s impossible to spread anything on them, and they almost have a wholemeal colour and texture. No longer soft and white. Been like this since late last year. Can’t buy anymore. Show details

Mouldy & stale bread, typically from Coles Supermarkets – We've been customers of tiptop bakeries over 20 years. We purchased a loaf of sandwich bread that was stale and started growing mould within 2 days of purchase. [Name Removed] from tiptop customer service didn't give a hoot about the customer. Why would she? Why should tiptop bakeries, as of they care. I was expected to keep the tab, who the hell… Read more

keeps bread tabs with mouldy or stale bread? No one told the customer to do so. Tiptop bakeries, and Coles supermarkets ( original place of purchase- this issue was presented to Coles with a receipt, but didn't give a rats [Word Removed]- just like the customer service officer " [Name Removed]") must be in kahoots with each other. Keep in mind, "[Name Removed]" customer service tiptop bakeries, never asked for a receipt in the emails. Something sinister going on here???? If you are reading this, reviews of 1 star have been presented to tiptop bakeries , and Coles supermarkets- both which lost a long term customer, ( try aldi range or store baked Woolworths, or a bakery- steer clear of tiptop crap or Coles branded rubbish). Because of there's an issue, neither company cares. ( I can provide the response email from "[Name Removed]"- apparently, she is tiptop bakery customer service officer) IF TIPTOP BAKERIES COME BACK WITH A MORE OF A " I CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER" ATTITUDE, THIS REVIEW WILL BE UPDATED, POSSIBLY WITH A BETTER STAR RATING. LETS face it, they won't. THANK SOMEONE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS!
