Tooletries

Products don't do what they state - ruined the walls in our rental. The only thing worse that the product promise is the customer service. Dismissive, disrespectful and outright rude. Even got escalated to the general manager and they ghosted me after offering a refund. After weeks of follow up on my refund they eventually sent it (half of what I paid for the product, not the actual amount) but ignored all my emails completely. Terrible customer service for a product they're flogging that doesn't do what it says.
Follow-up · What products did you use exactly? Harvey & Oliver Set, and the James and Oliver Set. What would fix their customer service? Adhering to the Australian consumer laws, responding to emails, not ghosting customers with faulty products. When I finally got through to someone higher up they offered a refund to quiet me and then just ghosted me again. And rude the whole way from the get go. How did the product damage walls? The sticky "removable" and "reusable" silicone was not removable, stuck completely to the wall and broke apart when trying to remove. After hours of scraping it off and using every tip they offered the only thing that got the hundreds of tiny silicone glue parts off the wall was a chisel - not what I want to use on gloss shower tiles. They were only on the wall for a few months, so it's not like they were left too long or too old to be peeled off. Just a product lying about its application to get sales...
Absolutely the worse product and dismissive customer service I have EVER experienced. Absolute garbage and I have the photos to prove it. Stuck like poo to a blanket and would not come off my shower glass. It took a handy man over one hour with a heat gun at my expense to get this awful Australian made product off my near new shower screen. Company were awful to deal with, just the WORST. Do not buy. Do not buy.
Won't remove from the wall – I bought the body scrubber with the silicone pad to hang the scrubber in the shower. The pad would not peel off the wall and I had to remove it with a paint scraper and then clean all the residue it left behind.
Terrible customer service – I’m writing this review, to prevent any other Purchaser Connell having the frustration I’ve had with dealing with Tooletries. I went onto their website and purchased a large amount of product. When I went on there and pop-up appeared, and said, save 10%, by subscribing to newsletters. I thought how nice and so I did that. Nothing more came up and I proceed with the order. Assuming the 10% would have came off as my order was lodged. The refund. Should’ve been $59.20. After one through checkout and processed I did not realise that discount did not come off, I immediately contacted customer support and two days later I got a reply which basically just said you need to put the discount code 1st. How was I to know that it was gonna be sent to me via text message afterwards. It is now been one month and I still haven’t received any product and the full amount has been debited from my credit card and although I have emailed them on four occasions I have had no reply. When and if I get the product I will be returning and asking for a full refund. Please be aware that you must put in your discount code prior to making the payment would be nice if they told you that when you subscribe to get the 10% discount . :(
