Total Scam – Total SCAM. Purchased the handheld vacuum cleaner advertised as having 'strong suction'. There was NO suction. Not an Australian company as emails answered in the middle of the night then blocked me. Reported to ACCC & SCAM WATCH

Do not get scammed! – This company is a scam- you do not get what is advertised, there is no opportunity for refund. The linked email is fake. Please do not engage or waste your money with this company. I wish I had searched reviews before losing hard earned money while thinking I was supporting “Australian”. The people behind this business should be ashamed of themselves!

Yes one of the worst online companies as everyone says - Bait and switch, Drop Shipper, no refunds - the lot – As everyone else has said. Thieves. Drop shippers. Classic bait and switch. Was looking for a powerful combo vacuum+blower in one. Received a kids toy at best that was only a vacuum. Wouldn't suck up a coco pop. Innocently hit up their customer service email saying wrong product sent from China and let's get the correct product out to me. But… Read more

no, they said the right one sent, even after sending them a photo. Then it just degenerated as whoever was on emails just got more pi$$ed off. 2 emails with no response to questions except I got the manual sent twice. Eventually I was told NO REFUND as product was perfect. Ended up got product refund through PAYPAL. But couldn't get the refund until I returned the product. Postage to QLD was higher than product value. PAYPAL process was good, but the lies in their responses to PAYPAL's questions were monumental.

Scammed! – I ordered a hand held vacuum cleaner 2 months ago. I was told that delivery was attempted but refused by receiver (not true), so it had been returned to sender. All attempts to resolve the issue with Tools express via email have got nowhere. They just keep saying they will investigate but nothing has happened. Now their website cannot be found and the email "domain cannot be found". $100 for a bad experience.

Wrong item sent still no refund – If I could put negative stars I would. I ordered a Bosch spray paint gun. What I got is not a Bosch as the batteries don't fit. Emailed customer service got 2 emails with their guidelines. I did not order the wrong item they have sent the wrong item and still can't get a refund or contact from them. Avoid this company at all costs.

Really bad experience – Yes I got ripped, the vacums look so much bigger than they are. They are like a kids toy. Tried to return, but they won't accept. Bah!!!

Tools Express - Scam - AVOID – Nil Stars more fitting! I purchased a Handheld cordless (car) vacuum back in early March for $99.99 from Toolsexpress.com.au who were portrayed as located in Dubbo (Australia). The ad clearly shows a rosette stating 100% Money Back Guaranteed. Further into the listing it states Easy Returns within 60 days, no questions asked etc. I was… Read more

concerned when a couple of days later the shipped notice with tracking arrived with the package being sent direct from China, NOT AUSTRALIA.

On arrival, I was stunned. It weighed less than 200g in its box & fitted into my hand - Picture shows it on a green mat. It was a cheap imitation toy (same as sold on other sites for less than AU$17). It did not match the photo's in the ad (picture attached showing a white vacuum), nor did it have the blower function. I doubt it would have had power to pick up anything. The pokey/crevice tool was much smaller than shown, different handle, button, vent, filter = totally different product!

I emailed straight away saying I wasn't happy & asking for the details to return under their 60 day 100% Money Back Guarantee, no questions asked ... .... I said it wasn't as described!

They responded after midnight saying - On Thu, 4 Apr 2024 at 2:35 am, Tools Express <info@toolsexpress.com.au> wrote:

It will help us decide how we can handle your issues with the product properly. We truly appreciate your understanding in this matter. Thank you for your cooperation.

All the best, Tools Express

They have a refund policy hidden at the bottom of their page but clearly on their listing it is different.

Luckily I paid via Paypal & I'm now claiming a refund through paypal. The seller details show as LIVING EASY AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. They wanted their "toy" vacuum returned, which I did & was reimbursed by paypal for the return postage to a PO Box in New Farm QLD. The seller processed the refund but it was "cancelled" for some reason so paypal are now following up & will refund me.

I have reported them to Facebook who didn't care. I've also reported them to ACCC who also just sent a standard email saying to contact consumer affairs in my state but I'd already done that & was advised to contact ACCC as consumer affairs could not help. No one seems to be interested in removing these misleading ads which now also look to be the same as are appearing under other company names - BEWARE

Scammers – Scammers. Do not buy from this company. It’s false advertising, you don’t get what they advertise. Why are these companies getting away with ripping people off? They won’t refund if not satisfied as they state they will. .

This company is NOT EXPRESS TOOLS in UNANDERRA NSW – Please beware, this company is not Express Tools in Unanderra. We at Express Tools Unanderra receive several phone calls a day asking for their products that they have paid for on line. We at Express Tools Unanderra do not sell on line. We are a store with a door and invest our money to put stock on the shelf. Please always check if they have an ABN and a contact number, if they do not have these I would be cautious.

Tools Express False and Misleading Claims – For all the people who have requested a refund from Tools Express, the tact that I have taken is - if you look at the website it shows that it has a blower function which it doesn't. Regardless of what they say (they claim the suction is "fit for purpose") this does not give the correct information for this product so it is a clear case of false… Read more

and misleading representation. In the first instance submit a dispute claim with your credit card provider which you can do online. The next step is to lodge an official complaint. As Tools Express is not a registered business name or entity it's hard to work out the jurisdiction, however the bank account is in East Brisbane so lodge a complaint with https://smartforms.lgft.justice.qld.gov.au/form/?formCode=consumercomplaintform The more ppl that lodge a complaint the quicker they can be shut down...

Tools Express – Purchased hand held vacuum which finally arrived after more than 2 weeks and I’m horrified at the quality and performance of the thing. It’s advertised as a vacuum and a blower in one but it doesn’t blow at all and the suction is abysmal. It’s flimsy, useless and after paying $100 for it, I’m more than cranky about it. The toy you can do without – DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. Hand Held Vacuum (so called) – Objective, hah nothing to say except we need to be able to report these companies to a governing body. Should have checked product review first! Oh fool me. They are bloody liars and do not deserve to take up space on this earth! Hand held vacuum (so called) I fell for the 2 tradies from Dubbo and the wording of the AD. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. SPREAD THE WORD!! Oh made claim, no response other than told it’s fine and works! [Content Removed].

POOR PRODUCT QUALITY and customer service will give you the run around – I purchased a handheld vacuum and it's like a childs TOY it weighs 150gm so weak it struggled to suck up a bit of dust in a caravan. This is a total poor and misrepresented product , if you're thinking of buying one GO ELSE WHERE ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this shocking product & company !

Not value for money – The hand held vacuum does not even look like the one in the ad and it will hardly lift a crumb of toast. This is far from value for money

Don't Bother – Just received my $99 hand vac (supposedly on sale down from $200). Couldn't possibly be more disappointed. Firstly, the videos show a somewhat larger device than the one I just received! It would take a day to vacuum my car its so useless. Absolute scam and false advertising. Do yourself a favour a buy a cheaper one from Temu as this one is crap.

Duped – My handheld vacuum cleaner arrived this afternoon. What a piece of rubbish. The ad looked amazing, but the reality is, I have more suction using a straw than this has. So disappointing. I have been ripped off. Not worth $10, much less the $100 I paid for it. Shame on you for selling a disgusting product and shame on me for believing an ad. I will be sure to spread the word.

This website is a scam! – Like the previous reviewer, I purchased what I thought was a dual function handheld vacuum/blower with multiple nozzles and filters as shown on their website. I received a very poor quality item which is nothing like what is advertised and definitely not worth $100. A child’s toy would perform better. Don’t believe the “no questions asked money… Read more

back guarantee” because requesting a refund is useless. They’ll respond with the same cut and paste answer and have you going around in circles. This company should be banned from advertising on social media platforms. Their products are useless and they’ve scammed me out of $100.

Appalling business with abysmal customer service, and selling products which are not fit for purpose! – I bought 2 vacuums for $180. These vacuums and the business are being misrepresented. The vacuum was described as "powerful" and suitable for home or car use. However the suction is not even strong enough to pick up a piece of paper towel or the bubble wrap it came in. I am ashamed to have been duped, and am too embarrassed to give the 2nd one to… Read more

my son as intended. The items are not even worth the postage - and that was free! They are rubbish - not even worth taking up landfill space.

Despite offering a 60 day 'satisfaction' guarantee, I have had no luck. I have sent multiple emails over the past month, asking for a refund and how to return the items. However I only receive a standard response asking me to describe the issue - which I have done several times already, including a video showing how weak the suction is.

The Facebook ad misrepresented the business as Australian owned and operated by 2 tradies in Dubbo. This is absolutely not true. The items were shipped directly from China, and the email response times (late night and early morning) indicate that the business is also operated from overseas.

If there was an option to give a minus star rating, I would give a minus 5 star rating. Reported to Fair Trading and Scam Watch.
