First they try to make you change your email and then they lie about discounts! – They've declined considerably! So I got an email from them with a birthday discount, but it was on the wrong date. to make a purchase the next day and couldn't login. When I emailed about that, it took well over 36 hours to get a response and the person asked what email address it was registered under; I replied, but still didn't get a response. Losing patience, I finally called them. After getting put on hold for some time, the customer service rep told me that my address had been deactivated from their system for over 6 months and that I'd need to use a *DIFFERENT* address (despite the fact that they had no problem sending promotional emails and even said they'd put a 10% discount on a future order on that email address). The guy said he'd give me another 10% discount on top of the other 10% and the 20% for my birthday for my troubles. When I asked how they'd know the new account is me (given the fact that I'd have to create a new email account), the guy hung up on me!!!!
So then I emailed them about it and got a promise of another 10% saying they're sorry, but they shut down accounts for privacy and security purposes and they can't do anything to let me use my email again!
I might add that the English of their customer service reps is very poor; it makes me suspect that they're in some place outside of Europe or the US. Oh, but the response was immediate when I pointed out that they promised 10 percent in addition to 10 percent in addition to their 20 percent birthday discount! They now claim that it's only 10 percent in addition to claiming that the birthday discount is only 15 percent and not the 20 percent noted in the email!
Bring back the UK website – I use to purchase my garments online through the UK websites, i love buying my clothes there, it was a lot cheaper and more variety of styles, and then just recently they have remove the website and replace it with topman.com.au. This website is overprice and not alot to choose from. Bring back the UK website.
Delivery Times are shocking to AUS – Got a gift voucher from a mate to use with Topman - thought I'd give em another chance after my last crappy experience . Sadly they were crap again, you call the international delivery number and they actually say, "sorry were receiving high number of calls please try again later"! That's it I'm done.
Terrible customer service in Australia – Bought some trousers from a Topman store then tried to locate another size that that branch didn't have in stock. Tried to contact 3 different branches in VIC & NSW via phone during working hours and the phones all rang out. So gave the email service a go online. Excellent quality, good prices – Purchased a few shirts online. materials of items were of a excellent quality. Had the feel of more expensive pieces yet was reasonable priced. had a nice slim fit it not a bit small. Only downside is standard shipping is about $16 aud and took at least 6-7 business days for delivery. Great quality materials and prices Shipping takes a while (1 and half weeks)
Very happy! – First time purchase through topshop.com. They had terrible reviews on other sites but decided to give it a go as my brother had purchased from their shop in the US and I love his tshirts. Only con would be that it took over 2 weeks to arrive but it was coming from the UK, otherwise, i'm extremely happy and will be back! Great clothing, good communication No delivery tracking numbers
