Absolute garbage, this unit was brand new when we moved into our house, was replaced by previous owner 1 month prior to sale. After 6 months it had a major short circuit in the board of the outside unit, and Toshiba wouldn't honour the warranty because we weren't the original purchaser. The local agent told us he was quitting Toshiba because their after sales left a lot to be desired.

You WONT buy a Toshiba Air Conditioner if you read this! 102 days to fix it! – Small A/C unit as above fitted 3+ years ago failed early October 2020. Service from SKAIR Brisbane was swift with just a few days wait. Fixed temporarily then another part fitted a week or so later. Only weeks passed then unit failed again. This time service call took later than before. Same part had failed but apparently no temp fix this time? Said will order and advise. Two weeks pass no advice. Tried many times to call Toshiba but of course they don't want to answer. Even an email with no response! So much for service! Eventually given a number to call that finally answered...even though I'd left many messages to call me....hmmm ducking and weaving at it's best! This person checked and advised that no parts were ordered....Really? Of course he said he'd call me back but that didn't happen. Meanwhile I'm getting hotter than the sweltering 30 degrees in my office. Eventually after many calls SKAIR gave me a repair date......102 days after my first call about my failed Air conditioner! So I wonder if Toshiba will respond to this review? Nah they won't care. JUST DON"T BUY TOSHIBA
