TP-Link AC4000 Archer C4000
Verified4 reviews
Probably the best router I've used! – I am using this with an Archer AC 1200 modem/router (with the AC1200 wireless switched off) to access fibre to the node NBN. We live in an average sized house and have the router situated in the centre, Previously I'd been using a Netgear modem/router, and when it started acting up I decided to try TP Link. The signal reaches all corners of the house at full strength, as well as on the perimeters of our property. (Wifi analytic apps are available from the App store and Google play to test signal strength.
I use the Netgear WiFi phone app because it was free, and also because I was using a netgear product at the time). Last weekend I was at a neighbor's house and picked up a good signal from the AC4000 there as well on my phone.
The web interface of the router is very intuitive and easy to navigate, and there are plenty of 'how to' videos on YouTube from Tp Link and others. (Compared to the Netgear interface the TP Link web page is super easy, and common across all their current products.)
I'd happily recommend this product.

nothing but disappointment for someone who spent nearly $300 – bought this brand new for FTTP connection. First one was faulty so got a replacement, second one just started having issues 5 months in. tp link customer service calls are never answered. chat is useless, after 3 hours of troubleshooting. they said they will get back to me via email. fantastic. btw i was the first one to create a great review for this router here on this website. so i had to change it now. seems link tplink team is here now to comment.

Simple, powerful, – I replaced an expensive DLink with this device. I am running extensive, 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz devices as well as a wired LAN. 50 devices in all. Extension devices work well. Hooked up to a hybrid NBN.
