Keeping up with advances
I recently upgraded to this TP-Link AX6000 to get into the Wifi6 technology and handle the 50 device IOT powered house my home has become. The device swapped straight in without any problems. Configuration was minimal. The wifi range has extended dramatically over the previous DLink and so I have been able to do away with the two extenders that the DLink needed. The device allows you to choose what services you want to give priority to and I choose streaming. The load time has dropped to zero and the number of devices able to stream has in crea...sed as has the resolution of the streams increased to 4K across the house. Not to mention the cost was significantly cheaper than the equivalent DLink, Netgear and ubiquity devices. Over all I can’t fault this device.
Purchased in March 2021 at Umart Online QLD, Milton for $389.00.
Questions & Answers
is this product recommended for iinet vdsl service in canberra?
Hi Justin, Thanks for your question, this is a router only so not suitable for VDSL, for that connection a modem router is required. There are a couple of options here. You can choose a Mesh solution with a VDSL gateway like our TP-Link Deco system for whole Home Wi-Fi, or could go with a traditional VDSL modem router if your home isn't too large or full coverage is not important, here are a couple of links I hope help. Thank you for getting in touch and for considering TP-Link products. Please contact us again if you require more information, thanks.

which modem router would be best for a larger house with 5 adult users? AC 2100 or 2800.....or whichever ? working from home and streaming use
For 5 users and a large house I would recommend our Deco X20 DSL for your connection. If you need the additional range you could consider adding a 2 or 3 pack of Deco X20 to broaden your Wi-Fi 6 network. Wi-Fi 6 is particularly good at handling multiple users and devices over previous Wi-Fi technology. Please see links below, I hope this helps and feel free to get in touch if you have any more questions. Thank you for considering TP-Link products.
