drawing to Trademaster who promptly sent me back a form that I had to translate my drawings onto. Apparently Trademaster can't read a drawing. I'm an engineer, the drawings were good, clear and complete. So the complicated panels had to get simplified for now to modify later myself because the form can only deal with very simple shapes. No fancy routes or the like. Sent in the forms with a couple of questions and they responded in their usual style with a very curt answer to my first question, and that's it. I ended up asking the same question several times and every time I got a curt response which was not an answer. They think they are communicating clearly when they are not. And they never read past the first question. Their response is never more than a single sentence. This would be fine as long as you don't mind being treated like phlegm. When I could finally determine what I needed to order they asked for 100% up front payment ($5,000) and to allow 4 weeks for completion. At this stage I was not a happy camper and said as much and asked if they were a scam. After that, rude and ineffective customer service became refused customer service. Apparently I had upset the royalty who answers the email inbox and they wished me a good day. I tried to explain (but not apologise) and they would not have it. There are other providers of this service and as it happens, Trademaster did me a favour by making me seek the others out. If there was anything in my experience that was good I would mention it. Their email response was fairly quick but with a useless response. They might be ok if your job is straight forward and you don't need anything back from them other than your doors. There are other companies around that do this kind of thing and they are much friendlier and far more helpful.
