I recently completed both the beginners and advanced weekend trading courses with Traders Circle, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Coming in with little to no prior knowledge of trading or technical analysis, I found the course structure incredibly well thought out, clear, and delivered by highly knowledgeable professionals.
The weekend sessions were well-paced and conducted in small groups, which made it easy to ask questions and stay engaged. The learning environment was supportive and interactive, which really helped solidify the concepts being taught.
What really sets Traders Circle apart is the ongoing support and mentorship. The access to continued learning resources, real-time help during paper trading, and responsiveness of the team gave me confidence in the whole process.
The paper trading program was especially valuable, it not only helped me follow some set rules and focus on getting the mental side right.
I highly recommend Traders Circle to anyone serious about learning how to trade properly. Their commitment to student success is evident in every part of the program.
Approach with great caution – I know exactly who is being referred to in the other post. He's Captain Charisma but this kind of trading is incredibly high risk and can move in either direction incredibly quickly. ASIC had a few choice words about he company back in 2004 as well. ASIC obtained Federal Court restrictive orders against these spruikers for providing advice without an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and making false and misleading representations that contravene the ASIC Act 2001. I'm not sure whether they've cleaned their act up since then, but I would give them a wide berth.
Thankfully I only lost $1,000 and that was within a week. I stopped quick smart, having learned my lesson. A friend who is very experienced, successful and wise in the ways of many types of trading was dummy trading forex options for years to see whether it was worth doing. He decided not, for many reasons. It's a 24/7 obsession because you deal with markets around the world. You also cannot stop thinking about it when you have trades in because they can be during the night. Good luck getting to sleep.
This is dangerous territory for inexperienced trades with dollar signs in their eyes. Their claims of insanely high returns appeal to our desire to make a quick buck. This, to me, is highly unethical, and I think the only ones who make consistent money out of this are the people who run the course and get a fee for trading on your behalf. They claim to have 'one of' the 'busiest' trading desks. This doesn't necessarily mean it's successful. Get peer reviews of any course of this nature. This is not the only questionable company out there.
How to loose money quickly – Traders circle - Melbourne Australia FOREX brokers and training company I went to their course 2017 to learn options trading at a cost of $5000. Head trainer [Name Removed] claimed that with their guidance trades would be positive 70% of the time. Sounded great, entered into in 7 trades that they suggested following the course, most were losers and cost me $7000, with any winners most of the rewards were just chewed up in fees. They talked me into trading the ASX/XJO only which they would manage under their Elite Trade group. I started with a kitty of $40, 000 around august 2017, I entered in very trade they put to me. During the course they preached to us that you “make money by limiting your losses” and that they recommended that with any trade going against you, should be closed at max 20% loss. It is now August 2018. Throughout the year there were some winners, but again most of the gains were chewed up in exorbitant fees. At the turn of the year things started going really bad for me. With the AU market rising rapidly they predicted it to fall quickly so they hung in - way beyond the 20% loss mark. They kept changing the buy and or sell legs of the strategy charging huge fees each time and still staying with a market down approach when other traders were calling it upward. By August 2018 my kitty was now $16, 000; I’d lost $7000 plus $24000($31K) in little over a year with their expert guidance. I have since stopped trading with them. These people just can't pick the market direction. My recommendation: Stay well clear of [name removed] and his team!
