My principal was not informed that her share sale proceeds had been placed on hold before the scheduled settlement date, or that an internal review was underway, and I, as her attorney, was unable to act for her concerning substantive matters because SelfWealth appears never to have completed the registration of my EPOA. When the review was completed, she received only a brief call saying her account was “now active”, without any explanation of what this meant or how to access her funds. Although SelfWealth acknowledged that some communication “could have been handled differently”, it declined to offer even a small goodwill consideration to recognise the confusion, anxiety, delay, and the resulting interest foregone. Overall, the experience highlighted consistent communication shortcomings at key points where clear and timely information should reasonably have been expected.

sales consultant or sales director of Stock Specialist has overpromised his Active Service package including quarterly review of porfolio, 5-10 monthly trading opportunities recommended by phone or emails, utilizing their portpolio construction services. None of these are happening. I have contacted him for the refund as I did not receive the services after a couple of months. He then advised me the trading opportunities are delivered directly to the platform dash board. This is exactly the same platform I can see as a normal member. I don't need to pay another $1500 to see the same thing. I have emailed him for the refund a few times but like most of other customers making complain - get nothing back.

I decided I didn't want to renew my subscription, so I logged into my account to cancel. I spent over 15 minutes clicking through every single bloody menu and account setting looking for a simple "Cancel Membership" button. It doesn't exist. They make it incredibly easy to sign up online with a few clicks, but deliberately remove any online cancellation option, forcing you to email or call them to beg to be let go.

This is a highly unethical business practice designed purely to create friction so people give up and get charged again.

I had to resort to sending a formal legal demand citing Australian Consumer Law and ACCC guidelines on misleading conduct just to force them to stop my auto-renewal. I have also paid for my current term upfront, which is valid until June 23, 2026. I have had to explicitly warn them in writing not to illegally cut off my access early just because I refused their auto-renewal trap.

If a digital financial company cannot provide a transparent digital exit button in 2026, they do not deserve your business. Completely dodgy and unethical.

I sent them a query some weeks ago but got no response. Some might think that an anomaly like this, lowers the trustworthiness of everything they report.

What an absolute joke of a company! Made a $2000 withdrawal that went missing as they sent to the wrong bank and now they refuse to do anything about it. Stay away from these scammers!
