3. On the day of departure, I discovered the ticket was actually a regular Scoot flight — not the SQ8530 codeshare. I spent 4-5hours checking with both Singapore Airlines, Scoot and TravelGo. TravelGo did not resolve the matter.

4. Only a week later, TravelGo eventually AGREED that the wrong tickets were issued to me. — but REFUSED a refund arguing we had already boarded the flight.

5. OF COURSE we had no choice but to board ANY FLIGHT. As our accommodations and car rental were fully prepaid. Canceling the flight would have meant losing the entire trip.

6. After further email exchanges, TravelGo refused to take responsibility, giving a new excuse:   → “The flight still brought you to the same destination.”

This is categorized as an outright SCAM. — issuing the wrong ticket, falsely reassuring the customer it’s correct, encouraging them to proceed with the flight, and then using that against them to deny a refund when customers had no choice but to proceed with the boarding (Or lose their entire trip and paid accommodation)

TravelGo also attempted to push decision to the Airline stating that the Airline is unable to give a refund. That is obviously a bleak attempt to push responsibilities, the airline had not made any mistake, it was TravelGo, the 3rd party ticket RESELLER that issued the wrong tickets.

Most of TravelGo’s responses follows a generic, templated script aimed at deflecting responsibility. As seen across numerous other reviews, there's a consistent and telling pattern in how they handle complaints—especially those that clearly highlight their fault.

TravelGo is a company based in China, so they believe they can get away with many things. I advise any victims to file a mass report to China’s National Consumer Association (CCA) and all relevant authorities to bring the matter to light.

I have contacted TravelGo and the customer service support agent suggested me to pay a fee of AUD 157 to “change my name” and asked me to send through the evidence to show the issue that came from their website. After I paid, I received the new ticket number and booking information. I also emailed the customer service with a screenshot of Name Guidelines on their website. I asked the customer service agent in regard to the refund process. They then refused and said no refund for my situation. I was unsure whether they could understand as the customer service support agents spoke broken English. In the end of the day, I was charged a unreasonably additional fees due to their misleading Name Guidelines after I made the booking. The experience is very bad as the TravelGo customer service agent did not resolve my issue with any reasonable explanations.

Travelgo is fraud site – Total scam. Bought ticket for 2-16-24 supposedly on Frontier air, got to airport, ticket I got was fake. Contested charge on my credit card and reported as fraud. SCAMMERS - Disputed the charge – This agency booked a room for some guests to stay at our hotel and they were paying for the room. The guests stayed and then the travel agent disputed the charge on their credit card and suddenly were no longer reachable by phone. I got no response to the several emails I sent inquiring about the dispute. They are a complete scam and luckily I had the paper trail to get our money back. Show details

I try to rebook the flights which i paid $304USD Sydney to Adelaide - checked the price for new flights on their website - equivelent of $40USD difference so expecting the change of flight to be $40 - but nope.... they wanted $423USD to rebook the flights - more than booking from scratch ($342USD) - total fraud. Basically to use the credit costs much much more than booking fresh flights through their site and through the airline direct. They say only way to use the credit is to pay the change fee - no refund so I guess money gone! DO NOT USE TRAVELGO.COM- BE WARNED

service number. It couldn't reach. So I looked for the customer service email from the official website (no contact info in their emails). Then I received a strange number with +86 and it was a staff from Travel Go but she spoke like reading a script in English and the communication was really not effective I would say. She only kept repeating the same thing that they can't gurantee the refund back in money but may try to ask the airline to refund some coupons. It was the most unpleasant experience when preparing my flight. I have also checked with the airlines of my tickets booked. They all reassured that my flights were having no problem at all so we all wondered why Travel Go suddenly changed my flight without reasonable factors. I just want the whole refund from this scam company or else may have to take legal action if necessary.

Avoid at all costs – These are dodgy china-based resellers of cheap flights, who take your money and you dont get any back, even when the government stops all flights. Avoid dealing with this company at all costs - any crap companies to do with travel bookings are still much better than TravelGo.com. You have been warned. Learn from this.
