Very disappointed with Tropical Coast Plumbers Townsville. Charged us for a job that was approx double any of our other plumbers charge for the same work. were told they had an apprentice working with the main person. Apparently he is charged out at $155 p.h. plus GST. We property manage 132 houses and we wont be using Tropical Coast Plumbing any further.

I called Tropical Coast Plumbing for a drainage issue. It was a downright shoddy job they did. The trench wasn't fully backfilled, and the work was nowhere near professional. for boss who quoted the job to come and see in person what my concerns were, and submitted some photos. He never did. I called again days later, and I was advised they did not have my address in their system. Days later the boys passed through and said the cleanup wasn't part of their job - despite it specifically being mentioned in the quotation- they scooped a few shovels of soil away and left. After they left, the office sent me a second bill claiming it was a penalty for an incorrect callout. A lady from the office texted me advising I would get a direct call from the accounts department. Over 3 weeks gone by now, I am still waiting for their call.
