NOT Recommended!! As a third-time mom , I was really looking forward to trying a wearable pump this time for the added convenience, especially to be hands-free while caring for my other kids. Unfortunately, this pump has been a huge disappointment and not worth the $350 price tag. The pump’s performance is poor, and the battery life is extremely… Read more

short , lasting only about two sessions before it needs another charge. If you don’t recharge it right away, it shuts off mid-session, which is incredibly frustrating. Customer service has also been disappointing. It takes a long time to get a response, and when they do reply, the answers feel generic and copy-pasted, with little understanding or empathy for postpartum moms who are already under enough stress. I wanted to support an Australian business, but now I regret not going with the American brand I had in mind. Their return policy is also very one-sided , it’s nearly impossible to properly test the product without using it, which makes it unfair for customers. For comparison, my hospital-grade plug-in pump and even my manual pump both produce triple the output of this one. As an exclusive pumper for 18 months for my second child I’ve double-checked everything, correct flange size, tight bra fit, warm compresses .but the only way to get a reasonable output is by squeezing my breasts, which defeats the entire purpose of a wearable pump. Overall, this purchase has caused me unnecessary stress and disappointment. I truly feel like I wasted my money. I would not recommend this pump to other moms. Also it seems they don’t post one star reviews on their website.

Surprised at how well this worked for me. I have very large breasts and struggled to find a portable pump that fit into my bra comfortably and actually pump enough EBM. Would recommend Show details

~~~~ I haven’t used my breast pump yet but I can tell it is made with such love and compassion for us breastfeeding mums or soon to be. The free gifts were a lovely touch and very thoughtful and it was packed safely and beautifully. Will definitely be ordering more from this company! Show details
I purchased the Tyhan Elevate+ Wearable Breast Pump Double in July 2025 and had high hopes, but the experience has been very disappointing. Pros • Strong suction power (but still ineffective overall, as it expresses less milk than another pump we own). Cons 1. Uncomfortable to Use: Even moderate settings were hard to tolerate, and higher… Read more
settings were unusable. 2. Ineffective Milk Expression: Despite strong suction, it does not empty breasts effectively. 3. Leaking Issues: This is the biggest flaw. A wearable pump is supposed to give you flexibility and freedom, but this one leaks with even slight movements, completely defeating its purpose. That makes the product practically useless. 4. Poor Design for Cleaning: The narrow-neck parts make cleaning difficult and drying takes too long, raising hygiene concerns. 5. Misleading Return Policy: Tyhan promotes a 30-day return policy, but in reality, they only accept unopened, unused items. Their reasoning is “hygiene,” which is understandable — but that doesn’t justify refusing refunds when the design clearly fails to deliver on expectations. No one buys a breast pump, uses it for 30 days, and returns it for fun. They could dispose of the item, but instead they choose to pass the cost of their poor design (and good marketing) onto customers.
A true “peace of mind” policy shows confidence in your product and commitment to customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Tyhan’s rigid approach suggests the opposite. For a product costing over $300, this is unacceptable.
Final Thoughts
I should not have to pay for Tyhan’s design flaws. The product looks good in marketing but fails in real-world use, and their return policy does not protect customers. I cannot recommend this product or the brand.
I am so glad a took the plunge and purchased the Tyhan S12 breast pump. My breastfeeding journey has been super difficult and i am sure many new mums have experienced that same pain. This breast pump has been a life saver. It feels so gentle, of course dependant on level chosen, but starting of gentle and building up has been my strategy to get… Read more
through the pain. I had previously bought another very similar style pump from a local store, but it does not even compare with Tyhan's S12 which is quieter, lighter, gentler and faster. Definitely recommend if you're bub feels like they're taking a bite out of your nipple when you try to breastfeed, and you still really want to provide your bub with natural nutritional milk.
As an exclusive pumper, I cannot speak highly enough of this wearable breast pump. To date I have tried 6 different breast pumps (wearables, wall & manual) and can say no other pump has come close in terms of output. The inclusion of multiple sized flanges is amazing to ensure you have the correct size, as it makes a huge difference to output as… Read more
well. With hubby returning to work it’s much more manageable to pump with these, I barely know I’m wearing them! This is the only breast pump I use now.
Additionally, I can also say Tyhan’s customer service has also gone above and beyond any time I have reached out! I have recommended these pumps to all my pumping mums, as we need amazing products to make our lives easier wherever possible!
I’ve been using these pumps for 6 months now. Our twins were born premature and breastfeeding wasn’t an option. These pumps have given me the ability to almost exclusively feed them breast milk. They’re simple to use, hold plenty of charge, pull apart for cleaning, and have done a huge job for me so far. You will need to have spare parts for them,… Read more
which are reasonably priced too. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a breast pump. My only issue is that I have a huge supply (great problem to have) and will often overflow the pumps, despite buying the o-rings etc. I’ve just got to keep an eye on the level while I’m pumping.
My old pump did a great job and was hospital grade but I couldn’t move around or do chores while using it so it basically had me tied to a chair for 20-30 mins. The Tyhan portable pumps gave me the same output with the flexibility to still do chores and activities around the house while pumping. This meant either playing with my little one or… Read more
prepping dinner/cleaning while he naps. It’s easy to use and set up. I already have a sterilised which is helpful for drying all the parts between uses. The catching units are bigger than my other pump which is great since I’ve been exclusively pumping throughout the day. The charge lasts for a long time and it has a lid so if you are out, it’s easy to store the milk. It also stays suctioned well in most of my bras, even if I’ve moving around. Sports bras work the best though. The only feature it doesn’t have which could be useful is a timer but it does shut off after 30 mins. Would recommend. Loving all the extra time I have since using the portable pumps!
I cannot say enough good things about the Tyhan Elevate+ hands-free breast pump! As a busy mum to 2 under 2 who is constantly on the go, this pump has been a total lifesaver. The portability and convenience it offers is unmatched. I can pump while driving, playing with my kids, cleaning the house, or even relaxing on the couch. It’s discreet… Read more
enough to wear under a loose top without anyone noticing. Plus, the battery life lasts through multiple pumping sessions, and it's super easy to clean and assemble. It has truly given me more freedom and made pumping far less stressful. I highly recommend the Elevate+ to any mum looking to simplify their breastfeeding journey. Total game-changer!
Received my pump a couple of weeks ago and have been enjoying using it especially in regards to the ability to pump hands free and do other things at the same time. The battery life is also really good. I am able to so 3 or 4 pump sessions before having to charge again. I definitely love that factor. However, there is some drawbacks that I would… Read more
consider major because they do annoy me a lot. After looking into a lot of different wearable pumps in Australia and America, I decided to get this particular brand because the collection cups seems to be quite tucked away and they specifically state on the website that you can bend over 45 degrees without leakage happening. This is not true. Depending on how much milk you have, the slightest bend will cause the milk to leak out and that it extremely frustrating. And even walking around if I turn a bit quickly the milk will leak out and if I am not walking very carefully it will also leak. And I do fit the pumps very carefully. I noticed that there is some sort of air vent just above the collection cup that it will spill out of. Seem to be a design flaw because it makes leakage a common occurrence. Unfortunately as well they do not offer a return if it has been used, which does not make sense because there is no way to test it unless you use it. It is very disappointing considering how pricey these are.
The other drawback is that the collection cups can be quite hard to clean very well. I've slightly bent the cleaning brush that they come with in order to make cleaning easier but I think there still is a spot that they would miss. Just a small drawback that would be completely fine and easy to put up with if it was needed for the non-leakage component but it leaks so that is useless.
Another thing that would be a great improvement is if they had some sort of way that the rest of the pump can be closed off if you remove the collection cup when you're out of the house. The feature that this pump boasts is having lids for the collection cups so that it can be used as storage containers, which is amazing but it also means that the rest of the pump with the duckbill is just left open and so the milk gets everywhere, and the duckbill can easily come off too and potentially get lost. This means that there is no point using the cups as storage cups because it means the rest of the pump just leaks everywhere. So I still need to carry around another storage container or bag. Which I don't mind at all, but it kind of redundates this particular feature for me.
Overall I am enjoying it, especially the battery life and hands free option, but it is extremely disappointing that they leak, especially considering how much they cost.
Stay away. I didn't end up breast feeding due to medical issue and they refused to take them back. Not supportive at all. I told them I was done breast feeding and kept saying have a credit note when I was clear I woulx have no use for it. Highly insensitive. I love shopping local but shocking for a breast feeding company to be like this to post… Read more
partum woman. It was totally unopened and undamaged. Could have definitely been resold. Cost $380. My only company I have ever given a bad review to. Please don't buy from them money hungry just stating policy says. Woman support woman and if you specialise in breast feeding should support your customers like every other company I have found lovely staff in for example breast feeding pillow warm and fabulous staff when I had questions.
I absolutely loved the Tyhan pump! I exclusively pumped for 7 months and counting just using the Tyhan pump. The pump is powerful and so easy to use and clean. I would pump on the go, at restaurants and at the park! Highly recommend for any mum who is looking for a pump
This pump is incredible. I purchased it ahead of giving birth not knowing if I’d need to use and now as a mix feeder whose baby takes the breast for a short time but much prefers the bottle, it’s saved me. Works better than the hospital pump and allows me to be free to move around or pump on the go. So good we bought another one! Show details
I’ve needed a wearable pump for a few months, I did do a bit of research on wearable pumps and didn’t think they would work for me for a number of reasons but primarily I thought the power wouldn’t be as strong as a spectra. How wrong was I! I have been very pleasantly surprised that the Tyhan pumps have worked really well!! Show details
The best pump around! The Tyhan pump has made breast feeding second time round a lot easier! With my first child I had a terrible pump and it made everything very difficult. This time round I'm able to wear the pump and go about daily life. I loved it so much that I ordered a second pump. Thank you Tyhan for the amazing product! Show details
Horrible – I purchased two last year. One didn't charge fully from day 1 and continuously cut out during use. I couldn't send it back as I needed both. I waited 7 months until I finished pumping. The entire 7 months daily this one pump had the sake issues and tyhan denied that it had an issue plus charged me to send it back to me the same! Plus I put a 1… Read more
Best wearable pump – The Elevate wearable breast pump is such an efficient pump. It is small, quiet and just as efficient as my regular Spectra 2 but the fact I can wear it around the house and get on with my day to day life without being tied to a plug in pump is great. It can easily fit in a handbag or large A4 size clutch, it holds 150ml and it is really easy to… Read more
use and clean. I bought it on sale and it was much more affordable than the Elvie pump which died after only a few uses. The customer service was also amazing. I emailed asking when it would be shipped as I needed it ASAP for an event and they replied so quickly and kindly and got it shipped out to me straight away. I would definitely recommend this to any mums who need a pump that is discreet and can fit in a nursing bra. It's perfect for going out but would also be great for pumping at work as it is small and portable.
