There is more filling again but it tastes terrible, like cheap fake berry flavour. The wheat pillows are grainy and pasty with the texture and 'bite' all wrong. My guess is they've moved to the cheapest ingredients they can possibly get. In any case, it's just not tasty anymore and I'd rather eat different cereals for the time-being. Would I give them another shot in a half a year? The trajectory has been on a decline for several years now, so I don't know if I can be bothered anymore.

Uncle Tobys fruity bites now without the fruit – This is now the third box of Uncle Tobys fruit bites that have no wildberry flavour inside the cereal either to be seen or tasted. different batch codes and all three boxes have no fruit inside to be seen or taste.

It looks now to me either poor quality control by Uncle Tobys or a deliberate attempt to reduce manufacturing costs, who knows for sure. Here are two batch codes from there cereal boxes that have no fruit inside, 323336070 with best before of 20 aug 2024, & 324636070 with best before of 02 sep 2024

I will send in another complaint to Uncle tobys (Nestle) and see what they say & will report back here,

Follow up after response from Uncle tobys (Nestle ) customer care. I was offered a coupon voucher for replacement of faulty goods even though i requested replacement product that met their advertised product. Was told that this was not possible and I had just had bad luck with qty three boxes of fruit bites all with different batch codes and from both coles and iga stores. Also advised that no change in manufacturing has occurred with this cereal and it was just a slight qa oversight that should have prevented this issue getting out into stores for purchase.

I have no faith in a company that cant or will not supply replacement product for faulty product.

Guess i know have to purchase my breakfast cereal from a competitor.

Ps I never asked or wanted a coupon voucher irrespective of any value offered I just wanted the product that Uncle tobys advertise as fruit bites.

Why would i subject myself to purchasing a possible fourth box of defective Uncle tobys cereal on the customer service statement of just bad luck?

Tiniest Amount of Fruit Inside Fruity Bites – Recently, I bought Fruity Bites for the first time in years and what a disappointment. I remember them having enough fruit filling inside them that you didn't even need sugar. This time I didn't taste anything and crunched my way through a bowl of blandness. sad cereal – I eat this as a snack as well as cereal. It's alright, not the best cereal I've had. Some of them aren't even filled with the fruity paste in the centre, so very disappointing. Show details

Disappointed – Pillows of cereal super tiny and hardly any filling in them also not that healthy very disappointed... i hope this helps other people

Best cereal – Crunchy, but not too crunchy. Sweet, but not too much for somebody who isn't a sweet tooth, and cheaper than most cereals

this is the BEST!!!! – i love fruity bites wildberry it has so much flavour, everytime i put a mouthful in my mouth it is like heaven i think they are the best cereal to be ever made. And another great thing about it is you can have them for snacks wherever you go so thankyou uncle tobys cause i think there amazing. reliable,energy efficent,great for snacks

Yummy - but not so healthly – This was a very tastie ceral, but when i was reading the box, I foudn the sugar content out weight the other goodness... Sadly I woudl not buy this again. The taste, sweet & crunchy High Sugar Content

OK – It is a good tasting cereal but due to the high sugar content, I am not inclined to buy more of this cereal and instead, I would buy something that is much healthier. is often on special at the supermarket, which is an added bonus. Despite being a good source of fibre, the sugar content is a bit of a worry (primarily due to the jam-like inside of each puff). Thus, this is a cereal that I only occasionally eat and I prefer to eat something like oatmeal.
