Unity Bank

I set up a term deposit and was pleased with the service and support received from bank staff over the phone. The only thing I was not pleased with was the long wait on hold, but that's pretty much par for the course regardless of which bank you're dealing with.
[Name Removed] From fraud department. Rude, obnoxious and disrespectful- undertrained for position. Poor communication
A diamond in the rough – Recently signed up for a joint MoneyMAX savings account. Pros: Very responsive and friendly customer service. Currently 4.7% interest with no hoops or gotchas whatsoever. Member owned credit union, not profit-centered. Can pay bills directly from savings (but not with external debits). Transfers (Osko or direct credit) to other banks nearly instantaneous. Access via either app or website.
Cons: Relies heavily on SMS; alternative 2FA methods would be nice.

Unity Bank - great little heard of bank – Unity Bank is not well known but am finding it very good. Don't confuse with Australian Unity which is a different bank. Have recently signed up for their high interest savings account and find the website and customer help very good. I've not had to wait long when phoning with various questions, and staff friendly. They have a range of accounts but I have only opened the high interest one which has no conditions! Finding Unity Bank just the job so far and I do recommend it.
