The staff at the Willows Shopping Centre branch are top-notch - Always on top of things - kind and humble workers that make sure customers are tended to pleasantly. It has a real community bank feel where they actually know your name, which is a breath of fresh air compared to other branches/ banks. Show details

had one recently and the lady helped me to the best of her knowledge, she even drew a little diagram on a blank piece of paper and described it more accurately.

It was my first time going in, my father had pre-booked my appointment at the Aitkenvale Branch because I’ve been so busy I had no time to do myself, anyways after coming in, I had this lovely lady who served me and was honestly amazing, she listened and answered all my questions. I have only ever been with one bank so to come here and receive the service I got that day, I am very pleased and happy to be apart of Queensland Country Bank now Show details · 1

the PC Banking platform is extremely user friendly, I use it about four times a week. I use the app on my mobile almost daily, it makes balance checking and transferring a breeze, love it. Show reply
Follow-up · The desktop version is easy to navigate. Clean and clear to find your way around. The Smart Budget is probably the only feature I don't use as I have no need for it. I like the fact that I have seven accounts in there and I can move them around in any order I wish. Makes it great for Bills, Holidays, Grandchildren and special project accounts. I can swap $$$ between them with a couple of clicks, easy.

I have several term deposits with QCB, and I always ask for the best rate as a loyalty bonus. I was extremely pleased on my last interaction that they increased the base rate from 3.7% to 4% Show details
Follow-up · I wrote this review just after I renewed my term deposit, and it was deserving of a five-star rating. The deposit was for 12 months with interest paid monthly on the 15th of each month. The first month's interest was due on 15th December to my nominated account. It didn't arrive. I contacted the call centre and they advised that the interest… Read more

Been with QCB for 36 odd years. Opened an account for my mother as an EPOA. Mum passed. Tried to open an Estate account as an Executor, to accumulate mums estate, pay bills, finalise tax returns & disperse balance, with Executors managing, & controling the account as per our authority, was refused. Told we couldn't touch the funds to pay bills or… Read more
even adjust the amounts to be dispersed to beneficiaries based on other asset distribution, bank had to disperse the account funds to beneficiaries equally regardless of other asset dispersal & we couldn't pay back Executors that had had to cover mums bills because the bank refused to pay them. Bank has made a mess of mums estate & is now forcing Executors to incur more costs, by getting legal representation to do the very thing that an Executor is supposed to be able to do, depleting mums account balance, in doing so. Australian Law dictates that Executors manage & control the assets but the QCB deceased estate team takes that control & dictates to the executors who gets what. Totally disgusted. QCB has taken control, sprouting that they have a duty of care to the beneficiaries. QCB should only have a duty of care to the executors, who by law have power over the asset, & the whole estate. If what QCB are spewing was true, an indemnity form would not have to be signed by the Executors to authorise QCB to disperse said funds to the beneficiaries & give immunity for any & all legal ramifications by them doing so. If the beneficiaries want to contest what the Executors disperse, there are legal steps they can take. It is not the banks job to dictate, hinder or prejudice the estate nor the Executors authority. Belinda put her hand up into my face & told me to stop talking. Unacceptable. QCB felt it was acceptable to have our meeting after they rejected our request to open an account, in the public foyer of the bank that was full of people in line at the bank, & also the coffee shop that is part of the bank section & it too was full of customers. Our personal, private & confidential information was aired for all to see & hear. Disgraceful. Belinda openly & loudly for all to hear, insinuated we were thieves that could cut a beneficiary out of the Will. That is not Belindas business, even if it were true. I will be looking at moving my money out of QCB. The only reason we are dealing with them re mums account is because the executors, were also her EPOA and they opened mums account, because I banked with them. Regret that decision. QCB is a no go zone as far as we are concerned.
A year ago, we were introduced to Kara, who helped us navigate the path to buying our first home. We are incredibly grateful for her guidance. Before meeting Kara, we were living paycheck to paycheck, constantly stressed about unexpected bills. We couldn’t afford car insurance or larger bills, and buying a house seemed impossible. She helped us… Read more · 1
gain control of our bills using smart budget, and built our savings from scratch. We went from barely scraping by to having money in our accounts, including an emergency fund, something we had never achieved before. She also guided us through reducing our debts and was always patient and knowledgeable, answering every question we had.
Kara’s support extended beyond financial planning. When it came time to house hunt, she accompanied us through the entire loan process. She handled paperwork, answered our questions patiently and clearly, and even showed us how our finances would change with different house prices. She also managed the insurance side, ensuring our protection and keeping us informed every step of the way.
What truly sets Kara apart is her personal touch. She never made us feel like just another client; she treated us like family. Her support, knowledge, and genuine care have completely transformed our financial lives and our future.
If you’re seeking someone who genuinely cares and will support you from budgeting basics to the keys of your first home, Kara is the person for you. We highly recommend her.
I am a very happy customer with the growth of QCB since its inception and merger with Queenslanders Credit Union after its merger with Ipswich Credit Union. in 1982, Its assets were about 18M and retired as CEO in 1993 with assets of nearly 200M. My Chairman Brian Merrin thanked me for my contribution in saving HIS Credit Union. .If interested I still have some media clippings and CU magazines. I recall having to travel to USA to receive an international marketing award for Credit Unions. Arthur Chalmers was the Manager of QPSCU since inception .He retired in about 1983 & lives on the Central Coast of NSW.. I do not know how interested you are in history but if you are I am quite happy to be interviewed about my 11 years with QPSCU.

Denied a loan because we spent a little extra to throw our daughter a birthday party. Bull! Dont bother you need to earn more then $120k per year and have more than $550k in equity in your home, more than $10k in savings before theyll even offer you a small personal loan. Worst bank to deal with, they deny your loan 2minutes before they close on Friday arvo by phone then hang up on your 45 seconds later Show details
Time is money, my time is wasted when asked to do something stupid like swapping a fifty to get smaller denominations. WHY? It is all cash at the end of the day. Besides the delay resulted in another dozen people getting delayed in their lunch break. Ask yourself WAS that really necessary? NO it was not. Show details
I asked to have a card replaced as it was damaged and I was downgraded from $5000 limit to $500 for 6 months because I hadn’t used it for awhile. Never mind that I have always paid my credit cards off as quickly as I could and way before time. Not to boast but my credit score is 987 and I’m getting penalised for being a good customer. Each time we deal with this bank we drift further and further away. What is happening to this country! Show details

Queenland Country Bank is a member's owned bank, and began life as a credit union. It has grown through having a great product and exceptional staff who know their bank and care about its customers. I have been a member for many years, close to light years, and find all service points from branches to online banking to be faultless. When I… Read more · 1
misplaced my wallet a few days ago the call centre sorted things out promptly and I was able go to a branch near me. The staff there were nothing short of amazing and I was able to get some cash from my account and relax a bit. Having never lost a wallet and to go though the card replacement process was a scary thought but with the help of a friend and without demolishing the house, the wallet appeared, intact. Yes, I have had dealings with other banks but I'm still with Queensland Country Bank.
The situation with which I had encountered, prior having to have this online experience, was horrendous. With the help of the online staff member, and patience shown during our time together, has absolutley sealed my satisfaction with the QCB. I have never had such a thorough, respective, encounter with any BANK online service before. The… Read more · 1

also show you how to set up automatic transactions and help you get the best interest rates. Online banking is simple and easy to use, with no complications, and purchases are secured with a text confirmation code.
They also don’t close on regional holidays, unlike some other banks.
I highly recommend them as they are a simple and straight forward bank and their staff are polite towards people.
I had trouble logging in to my account that I rarely use. I rang customer service Saturday morning and was patiently guided through the process of resetting my password by a lady who gave clear instructions and was not in a hurry to see me off. I’m considering relocating all my banking business to QLD Country Bank. They have a local branch with lots of friendly staff too. Show details · 1

Country Bank. Banking is not always about on-line banking, although this element of banking is useful and important. Banking is also about having a close association with the staff of a local branch, and we are blessed to have such a close association with our local branch of Queensland Country Bank. We love Queensland Country Bank's good old-fashioned banking.
I choose Queensland country bank because I've been a customer for many years. And find the safety of security strong in their changes with online usage. Find customer service helpful and explainable. Show details · 1
I switched from a "big bank" that used to be fine but is now just another corporate bank owned by certain international interests that do NOT align with my views of the world and basically push woke nonsense. I wanted to switch to a more local bank that doesn't - so after some research I decided on QCB and I cannot be happier. Every interaction I have had has been pleasant, hassle free and the staff are excellent. I wish I had done this sooner. Show details · 1
