Notice Regarding Defective Product and Unsatisfactory Resolution from UpliftJoys This communication documents a formal complaint concerning a defective magnetic phone holder purchased from UpliftJoys for US$25.00. The product, initially functional, failed within three weeks of purchase, exhibiting a critical loss of suction despite diligent maintenance efforts.

Upon notification, UpliftJoys requested video evidence of the defect, which was promptly supplied. In good faith, I proposed a full refund of the purchase price as a resolution, aimed at mitigating further escalation. UpliftJoys' initial offer of a partial refund of US$4.00, coupled with retention of the now unusable and defective item, was unequivocally rejected as unacceptable.

Subsequent negotiations yielded incremental offers of US$8.00 and, ultimately, US$12.00, which UpliftJoys declared as their "maximum authorized refund." These offers are grossly inadequate given the product's complete failure and constitute a clear breach of implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose under consumer protection laws.

UpliftJoys' protracted and insufficient attempts at resolution necessitate this public disclosure. Consumers are hereby advised to exercise extreme caution regarding UpliftJoys' products and business practices.
