Kind of overrated

Really, it's just ok. The fold mechanism lock broke within a week. It's cumbersome and bulky and doesn't fit easily in all car boots. It's hot and sweaty during summer. The instructions for use and features are pretty threadbare. A bit of a pain to pack and unpack. Baby doesn't look too comfortable to be honest.

Wheels are overall smooth, and it feels pretty sturdy. It is aesthetically pleasing. Clip off and on features are handy.

I'm ambivalent overall, it's not a bad pram but I just haven't liked it as much as I would have thought. I think I'd have preferred something lighter.

Incredible Pram

I spent hours researching for the best pram and I’m convinced that the Cruz is It. Very light weight for what the pram offers and super easy to pack down for car storage. Baby was very happy in this pram for many years. The bassinet was good to breath in hot weather and our baby slept in it well. My only gripe with Uppababy is their newborn insert which was 100% polyester and did not breath in our warm climate so we had to use ice packs underneath to keep our baby cool. All In All I would say this is the best pram on the market having tried a number of others. Show details

Perfect pram

Love this pram so much! purchased for my second baby as I have a 4year old so didn't need a double. I purchased the scooterboard for this pram and my son loves it! The pram is so smooth to manage, the basket underneath has such great storage and comes in handy when going to the shops. Wish I had an Uppababy for my first!. Show details

Can’t live without it

Purchased our UB Cruz V2 when bubs was 2months old. We were gifted another brand but was very dissatisfied but once we started using our Uppababy, walks to the park, shops and literally everywhere has been so much easier. So light to maneuver, I can stirr with one hand easily, the huge basket space allows for all baby stuff plus groceries which I don’t think I can live without now. Easy to maintain as well

Highly recommended product Show details

Perfect pram for even a 5ft like me

Bought this from baby bunting.
Lovely and easy pram and bassinet is the best,
We have loved this since day one. Big basket for busy mums, i love going to the shopping malls with this pram as the baby is so comfy. Also the costumer service seems great from coolkidz au, had an issue with seat adjustment bar which was fixed right away. I don’t know about others but for me I felt like the seat adjustment button has issue with cruz v2. Only cons for me is it is bit heavy for a shortie. Also silver frame scratches quiet easy. Show details

Great basket but poor ventilation and movability

This is a really good all rounder pram.
Pros
- massive basket (although very hard to access with bassinet)
- good suspension
- nice bassinet
- easy fold
- nice big seat
Cons
- bad ventilation- my baby gets super hot and sweaty in it even when it’s not that hot outside
- I find it hard to move backwards or pivot in tight spaces like trying to get out my front gate or through shop doors etc
- the sun shade isn’t the best

If they fixed the ventilation and the turn circle on it I’d love it but I think I’ll end up selling and buying another due to the ventilation as it makes it hard to use for any length of time in hot weather. Show details

Comfort for baby, but big and heavy for parents

This is a great pram for baby, as the suspension is fantastic and pram feels smooth. The pram itself looks sleeks and I found it easy to clean.
My only issue is that the pram is heavy and takes up a lot of space. In a medium size SUV it was difficult to pack for a weekend trip as the pram took up quite a bit of space in the boot.
Also I found that the frame scratches and looks worn quite quickly. Having said all this I will use this pram again. Show details

I love this pram so much

I bought this pram on sale at baby kingdom, and while their service isn't great- I'm really impressed with this product. All of the materials are amazing quality. I bought the Gregory colour and it looks even better in real life. I dont find it that heavy to lift up and down stairs if that's a concern of yours. My only small concern is that unfolding the pram isn't as easy as it looks. That design could be improved a little. But im really happy with my choice to buy it.

Amazing product

Great pram! Easy to manoeuvre and to change from forward, backwards or even to put on the capsule. Definitely would recommend.

Pros
Light weight
Not bulky
Easy to use
Great for walking on the road and on grass
Easy to store away
Easy instructions

Cons
Sun visor doesn’t cover enough.
In saying that the sun visor is good but with all the new pram/stroller sun visors that have an extra zipper to open and it covers almost the whole pram you would think they would have upgraded like them. In saying that the pram is still great just have to use a sheet to cover legs if you live somewhere hot like I do.  Show details

Perfect stroller!

The uppababy cruz stroller is so light and easy to handle. We love the big compartment space in bottom of pram.can keep many items, bags, playmat and still steer easily. Great shock absorbing. Our baby really enjoys spending time in her stroller when we out and about.

I can't decide between Cruz and Vista. I don't need the option to convert to double but I do like the idea that the vista's wheels are better and therefore better for rough terrain. Would you say that's the case or does the Cruz do just as well on rougher terrain?

The Cruz V2 handles just as well and is that bit more compact which is really great . If you don’t need a double then definitely just get the Cruz! It has all the vista amazingness without the extra price!

Are the older model (V1) bassinets compatible with the new Crux v2 frame?

Charles
Charles

I recently purchased the Cruz v2 and have noticed the brake latch keeps flicking up partially incredibly easy, sometimes I have no idea what could have bumped it even. Literally I just very slightly tap it and the right wheel only starts moving around. It’s incredibly frustrating when I get the pram out of the car and stand it upright, thinking the brake would still be on from when I pressed it on, to then have the right side started turning away from me while trying to unfold. I went to put my baby in it and the right wheel started wheeling so the pram turned (left wheel still brakes on) and I stumbled nearly dropping him. Is this normal for the brake to be so loose or a fault? Is there an easy remedy I can do myself or do I need to do a warranty claim? Thank you
