So bad Do not buy it’s so expensive for nothing Please avoid. Baby slides downs and is never comfy . Complained and they said it’s fine and that they can’t help. Other mums complain about the same thing - check out the fb page uppa baby
The worst purchase I’ve ever made!!! Don’t waste your money!!! – I’ve bought a brand new Uppababy Minu, was so happy and excited at the start but what a disappointment it became. After a year and a half of using the stroller , it started to get stuck when folding. Then after some time the frame just simply broke! It just simply snapped! What kind of quality is that? What kind of stroller for that amount of… Read more
money breaks down in just over 2 years??? I have contacted their support they’ve suggested me to buy a new frame for half price. after I expressed my dissatisfaction about their quality they’ve blamed me in low maintenance and said they want me to pay full price. I’ve never experienced such a rude and horrible service!!! I’ve never written any negative reviews in my life, but this brand and service team are just pure disappointment!!!
Ok but not as good as other Uppababy prams – I bought this pram as I love the Alta but needed something smaller for travel. The minu is not as small as other travel prams like the yoyo or mountain buggy, but it does pack up smaller than the Alta and comes with a thin lightweight travel bag. I doubt that it would fit on a plane as carry on and would likely still need to be checked in.… Read more
However, the bonus over some of the other smaller travel prams as the minu has the functionality of a stroller but is more robust, smoother manouvering, and the push bar is quite high. It is a very comfortable pram to push around all day, which happens a lot when travelling. The basket underneath is not as large as the Alta, but it was surprisingly more spacious than I expected. The hood is quite large and low, so provides reasonable sun cover. Reclines reasonably flat but not completely flat.
Almost 2 years old and still great! – The pram has been fantastic. I bought it because of a back injury that meant I couldn’t lift heavy or bend forward. I am tall and the pram folds without needing to bend down to pick it up. The carry strap is also handy. I used the seat reclined from a young age. I watched many YouTubes before buying this pram for the above reasons. My son slept in… Read more
it beautifully. We live in the country so it has been used on gravel and grass which it’s not intended to be used on but we got away with it when we had to.
Broke after 4 months – I would have happily recommended the Minu ... until the brakes broke after 4 months of regular city use. A note of caution to others - because we had recently shifted to NZ from UK, Uppababy will only honour the 3 year warranty in the UK, despite selling in both markets. Shipping the pram both ways at my cost is more than the value of pram. … Read more
All this is despite me owning the special Travel Bag which covers damage in transit ... turns out you have to be going back to your original country (i.e. UK for us) in order to claim under the Travel Safe program.
Uppababy acknowledged my predicament and offered me a courtesy new frame in the US - for only US$290 shipping..
So all in all, a still-broken 4 month old pram. Cannot recommend quality or customer service as a result!
Fantastic compact stroller – We love our Minu. It is nearly 18 months old now and in perfect condition. We used it with the seat from when child 1 was 3.5 months and the recline was perfectly sufficient for our purposes. For child 2 we purchased the from birth kit and have used it from a few days old. Both kids have been super comfy in it. It takes less than 5 minutes to… Read more
switch between the seat and from birth kit once you have done it a few times. It is a little clunkier to close when using the from birth kit but just took some getting used to. Can comfortably carry it on my shoulder with a toddler on my other hip up a flight of stairs and love that I can collapse it and put in in the boot one handed while holding the child. It feels extremely sturdy compared to some of the other compact strollers on the market and has held up well to travelling overseas and even did pretty well on cobblestones. Not made for off-roading but handles firm grass or dirt track just fine.
Worst pram I have ever bought – Bought pram to only use couple of times. Frame doesn’t close and when contacted uppababy they are saying I have to pay $200 more to repair. Please don’t waste your money buying a $50 light pram from k Mart is probably better. Show details
Amazing Uppababy Minu – We bought it because our cousin recommended this stroller. We went to PBC Expo February 2019 and tested Uppababy minu. It was light weight and easy to fold and and since on special price we purchased together with birth kit too. We received the package last 2 weeks ago and we just unpacked it yesterday and installed the birth kit. It was easy to install. We haven't used it yet because our baby is not due yet until end of May this year. Show details
